Isaiah 32

NEW JERUSALEM	SAGRADA BIBLIA
1 There wil be a king who reigns uprightly and princes who rule with fair judgement;	1 Eis que um rei reinará segundo a justiça, e os príncipes governarão com eqüidade.
2 each will be like a shelter from the wind, a refuge from the storm, like streams on arid ground, like theshade of a solid rock in a desolate land.	2 Cada um deles será como um abrigo contra o vento, um refúgio contra a chuva torrencial; como um fio de água num chão ressecado, e como a sombra de um alto rochedo em terra ressequida.
3 The eyes of seers wil no longer be closed, the ears of hearers wil be alert,	3 Os olhos dos que vêem não mais serão ofuscados, e os ouvidos dos que ouvem estarão atentos.
4 the heart of the hasty wil learn to think things over, and the tongue of stammerers wil speak promptlyand clearly.	4 Os espíritos insensatos dispor-se-ão a compreender, e a língua dos gagos falará prontamente e com clareza;
5 The fool wil no longer be cal ed generous, nor the rascal be styled bountiful.	5 não mais se qualificará de nobre ao perverso, nem ao trapaceiro, de grande.
6 For the fool speaks fol y and his heart is set on vil ainy; he is godless in his actions and his wordsascribe error to Yahweh; he starves the hungry of their food and refuses drink to the thirsty.	6 Porque o insensato profere loucuras e seu coração dá-se ao mal; comete impiedades, forma sobre o Senhor conceitos errôneos, deixa o faminto queixar-se de sua miséria, priva da bebida àquele que tem sede.
7 Everything to do with the rascal is evil, he devises infamous plans to ruin the poor with lying wordseven when the needy has right on his side;	7 As intrigas do trapaceiro são desleais, ele maquina desígnios criminosos para perder os humildes com mentiras, o pobre que faz valer seu direito;

12 Beat your breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine,	12 batei nos vossos peitos, {chorando} sobre a sorte dos campos férteis e das vinhas fecundas,

14 For the citadel wil be abandoned and the thronged city deserted, Ophel and the Keep wil be denudedfor ever, the playground of wild donkeys and the pasture of flocks,	14 O palácio está deserto, a cidade barulhenta está abandonada. 19 And should the forest be total y destroyed and the city gravely humiliated,	19 {A floresta será abatida e a cidade, humilhada}.
20 You wil be happy to sow wherever there is water and to let the ox and donkey roam free.	20 Bem-aventurados sereis por semear à margem de todos os cursos de água, e por deixar o boi e o asno sem peias.
