NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA TINTORI
1 A hard lot has been created for human beings, a heavy yoke lies on the children of Adam from the daythey come out of their mother's womb, till the day they return to the mother of them al .	1 Gran travaglio è stato creato per tutti gli uomini, un giogo pesante opprime i figli d'Adamo dal giorno in cui escono dal seno della loro madre fino a che non sono sepolti nel seno della madre comune:
2 What fills them with foreboding and their hearts with fear is dread of the day of death.	2 sopraccapi, timori del cuore, preoccupazioni per l'avvenire e il giorno in cui si finisce.
3 From the one who sits on a glorious throne to the wretch in dust and ashes,	3 Da chi siede sopra glorioso trono a chi giace sulla polvere e sul la cenere,
4 from the one who wears purple and a crown to the one dressed in sacking, al is fury and jealousy,turmoil and unrest, fear of death, rivalry, strife.	4 da chi veste di giacinto e porta corona a chi si ricopre di rozza tela di lino, furori, gelosie, tumulti, agitazioni, timori di morte, collere ostinate e contese.
5 And even at night while he rests on his bed his sleep only gives a new twist to his worries:	5 Ed anche quando è tempo di riposare nel letto, il sonno della notte perturba l'imaginazione.

12 Al bribery and injustice wil be blotted out, but good faith wil stand for ever.	12 Ogni dono ed ogni ingiustizia perirà, ma la fedeltà sussisterà in eterno.

17 Charity is a very paradise of blessing and almsgiving endures for ever.	17 La benignità è come giardino benedetto, e la misericordia dura in eterno.
18 For a person of private means and one who works hard, life is pleasant, better off than either, one whofinds a treasure.	18 La vita dell'operaio contento di sua sorte sarà dolce, e in essa troverai un tesoro.
19 Children and the founding of a city perpetuate a name: more esteemed than either, a perfect wife.	19 I figli e il fondare una città assicurano un nome, ma sarà stimata sopra queste cose una moglie senza macchia.

27 Fear of the Lord is a paradise of blessing, a better protection than the highest reputation.	27 Nel timor di Dio non manca nulla, e con esso non c'è bisogno di cercare aiuto.
28 My child, do not live by sponging off others, better be dead than be a sponger.	28 Il timore del Signore è come giardino benedetto, or nato di magnificenza senza pari.
29 A life spent in eyeing someone else's table cannot be accounted a life at al . Other people's fooddefiles the gul et; a wise, wel -brought-up person wil beware of doing this.	29 Figlio, nel tempo della tua vita non ti ridurre all'elemosina; meglio morire che mendicare.
30 What a sponger says may sound very sweet but in his bel y there burns a fire.	30 L'uomo che guarda all'altrui mensa non impiega la sua vita a pensare al vitto e si nutrisce di viveri altrui.
	31 Ma l'uomo educa to e saggio si guarderà da questo.
	32 Alla bocca dello stolto sarà dolce il chiedere l'elemosina, ma nel ventre di lui arderà il fuoco.
