NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 A hard lot has been created for human beings, a heavy yoke lies on the children of Adam from the daythey come out of their mother's womb, till the day they return to the mother of them al .	1 Grandes trabajos han sido creados para todo hombre, un yugo pesado hay sobre los hijos de Adán, desde el día que salieron del vientre de su madre, hasta el día del retorno a la madre de todo.
2 What fills them with foreboding and their hearts with fear is dread of the day of death.	2 Sus reflexiones, el miedo de su corazón es la idea del futuro, el día de la muerte.
3 From the one who sits on a glorious throne to the wretch in dust and ashes,	3 Desde el que está sentado en un trono glorioso, hasta el que en tierra y ceniza está humillado,
4 from the one who wears purple and a crown to the one dressed in sacking, al is fury and jealousy,turmoil and unrest, fear of death, rivalry, strife.	4 desde el que lleva púrpura y corona, hasta el que se cubre de tela grosera, sólo furor, envidia, turbación, inquietud, miedo a la muerte, resentimiento y discordia.
5 And even at night while he rests on his bed his sleep only gives a new twist to his worries:	5 A la hora del descanso en la cama, el sueño de la noche altera el conocimiento.
6 scarcely has he lain down to rest, when in his sleep, as if in broad daylight, he is troubled withnightmares, like one who has escaped from a battle,	6 Poco, casi nada, reposa, y ya en sueños, como en día de guardia, se ve turbado por las visiones de su corazón, como el que ha huído ante el combate.
7 and at the moment of rescue he wakes up, amazed that there was nothing to be afraid of!	7 A la hora de su turno se despierta, sorprendido de su vano temor.
8 For al creatures, human and animal -- and seven times more for sinners-	8 Para toda carne, del hombre hasta la bestia, mas para los pecadores siete veces más:
9 there is death and blood and strife and the sword, disasters, famine, affliction, plague.	9 Muerte, sangre, discordia, espada, adversidades, hambre, tribulación, azote.
10 These things were al created for the wicked, and the Flood came because of them.	10 Contra los sin ley fue creado todo esto, y por su culpa se produjo el diluvio.
11 Al that comes from the earth returns to the earth, and what comes from the water returns to the sea.	11 Todo cuanto de tierra viene, a tierra vuelve, y cuanto de agua, en el mar desemboca.
12 Al bribery and injustice wil be blotted out, but good faith wil stand for ever.	12 Todo don e injusticia serán aventados, más la fidelidad subsistirá por siempre.
13 Il -gotten wealth will vanish like a torrent, like the single thunder-clap that heralds rain.	13 Las riquezas de los injustos se esfumarán como un torrente, como un gran trueno que en tormenta estalla.
14 When he opens his hand, he rejoices, by the same token, sinners come to ruin.	14 Cuando él abre las manos, se contenta, así los transgresores desaparecerán por completo.
15 The sprigs of the godless wil not make many branches, tainted roots find only hard rock.	15 Los vástagos de los impíos no tienen muchas ramas, las raíces impuras sólo hallan piedra áspera.
16 The reed that grows by every lake and river's edge is the first plant to be uprooted.	16 Caña que brota en toda agua o borde de río será arrancada antes que toda hierba.
17 Charity is a very paradise of blessing and almsgiving endures for ever.	17 La caridad es como un paraíso de bendición, y la limosna permanece para siempre.
18 For a person of private means and one who works hard, life is pleasant, better off than either, one whofinds a treasure.	18 La vida del que se basta a sí mismo y del obrero es dulce, pero más que ambos el que encuentra un tesoro.
19 Children and the founding of a city perpetuate a name: more esteemed than either, a perfect wife.	19 Los hijos y la fundación de una ciudad perpetúan el nombre, pero más que ambas cosas es estimada la mujer intachable.
20 Wine and music cheer the heart; better than either, the love of wisdom.	20 El vino y la música ponen contento el corazón, pero más que ambas cosas el amor a la sabiduría.
21 Flute and harp add sweetness to a song; better than either, a melodious voice.	21 La flauta y el salterio hacen el canto suave, pero más que ambas cosas la lengua dulce.
22 The eye longs for grace and beauty; better than either, the green of spring corn.	22 Gracia y belleza el ojo anhela, pero más que ambas cosas el verdor del sembrado.
23 Friend or comrade -- it is always wel met; better than either, a wife and husband.	23 Amigo y compañero se encuentran a su hora, pero más que ambos la mujer con el marido.
24 Brothers and al ies are good in times of trouble; better than either, almsgiving to the rescue.	24 Amigos y socorro para el tiempo de tribulación, pero más que ambos salva la limosna.
25 Gold and silver wil steady your feet; more esteemed than either, good advice.	25 Oro y plata hacen el paso firme, pero más que ambos se estima el consejo.
26 Money and strength make a confident heart; better than either, the fear of the Lord. With fear of theLord, nothing is lacking: no need to seek for other help.	26 La riqueza y la fuerza realzan el corazón, pero más que las dos, el temor del Señor. En el temor del Señor no existe mengua, con él no hay ya por qué buscar ayuda.
27 Fear of the Lord is a paradise of blessing, a better protection than the highest reputation.	27 El temor del Señor como un paraíso de bendición, protege él más que toda gloria.
28 My child, do not live by sponging off others, better be dead than be a sponger.	28 Hijo, no lleves una vida de mendicidad, que más vale morir que mendigar.
29 A life spent in eyeing someone else's table cannot be accounted a life at al . Other people's fooddefiles the gul et; a wise, wel -brought-up person wil beware of doing this.	29 Hombre que mira a la mesa de otro no merece el nombre de vida su existencia. Con comida ajena mancha su boca, pero el hombre instruido y educado de ello se guardará.
30 What a sponger says may sound very sweet but in his bel y there burns a fire.	30 En la boca del descarado la mendicidad resulta dulce, pero en su vientre es un fuego que abrasa.
