Psalms 99

NEW JERUSALEM	STUTTGARTENSIA-DELITZSCH
1 Yahweh is king, the peoples tremble; he is enthroned on the winged creatures, the earth shivers;	1 יְהוָה מָלָךְ יִרְגְּזוּ עַמִּים יֹשֵׁב כְּרוּבִים תָּנוּט הָאָרֶץ
2 Yahweh is great in Zion. He is supreme over al nations;	2 יְהוָה בְּצִיֹּון גָּדֹול וְרָם הוּא עַל־כָּל־הָעַמִּים
3 let them praise your name, great and awesome; holy is he	3 יֹודוּ מְךָ גָּדֹול וְנֹורָא קָדֹושׁ הוּא
4 and mighty! You are a king who loves justice, you established honesty, justice and uprightness; inJacob it is you who are active.	4 וְעֹז מֶלֶךְ מִשְׁפָּט אָהֵב אַתָּה כֹּונַנְתָּ מֵישָׁרִים מִשְׁפָּט וּצְדָקָה בְּיַעֲקֹב ׀ אַתָּה עָשִׂיתָ
5 Exalt Yahweh our God, bow down at his footstool; holy is he!	5 רֹומְמוּ יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ וְהִשְׁתַּחֲווּ לַהֲדֹם רַגְלָיו קָדֹושׁ הוּא
6 Moses and Aaron are among his priests, and Samuel, calling on his name; they called on Yahweh andhe answered them.	6 מֹשֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן ׀ בְּכֹהֲנָיו וּשְׁמוּאֵל בְּקֹרְאֵי שְׁמֹו קֹרִאים אֶל־יְהוָה וְהוּא יַעֲנֵם
7 He spoke with them in the pil ar of fire, they obeyed his decrees, the Law he gave them.	7 בְּעַמּוּד עָנָן יְדַבֵּר אֲלֵיהֶם שָׁמְרוּ עֵדֹתָיו וְחֹק נָתַן־לָמֹו
8 Yahweh our God, you answered them, you were a God of forgiveness to them, but punished them fortheir sins.	8 יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ אַתָּה עֲנִיתָם אֵל נֹשֵׂא הָיִיתָ לָהֶם וְנֹקֵם עַל־עֲלִילֹותָם
9 Exalt Yahweh our God, bow down at his holy mountain; holy is Yahweh our God!	9 רֹומְמוּ יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ וְהִשְׁתַּחֲווּ לְהַר קָדְשֹׁו כִּי־קָדֹושׁ יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ
