Psalms 99

NEW JERUSALEM	CATHOLIC PUBLIC DOMAIN
1 Yahweh is king, the peoples tremble; he is enthroned on the winged creatures, the earth shivers;	1 A Psalm of Confession.
2 Yahweh is great in Zion. He is supreme over al nations;	2 Shout joyfully to God, all the earth. Serve the Lord with rejoicing. Enter into his sight in exultation.
3 let them praise your name, great and awesome; holy is he	3 Know that the Lord himself is God. He made us, and we ourselves did not. We are his people and the sheep of his pasture.
4 and mighty! You are a king who loves justice, you established honesty, justice and uprightness; inJacob it is you who are active.	4 Enter his gates with confession, his courts with hymns, and acknowledge him. Praise his name.
5 Exalt Yahweh our God, bow down at his footstool; holy is he!	5 For the Lord is sweet, his mercy is in eternity, and his truth is from generation to generation.
6 Moses and Aaron are among his priests, and Samuel, calling on his name; they called on Yahweh andhe answered them.
7 He spoke with them in the pil ar of fire, they obeyed his decrees, the Law he gave them.
8 Yahweh our God, you answered them, you were a God of forgiveness to them, but punished them fortheir sins.
9 Exalt Yahweh our God, bow down at his holy mountain; holy is Yahweh our God!
