1 [For the choirmaster To the tune 'The decree is a lily' In a quiet voice Of David To be learnt When hewas at war with Aram-Naharaim and Aram-Zobah, and Joab marched back to destroy twelve thousand Edomitesin the Val ey of Salt] God, you have rejected us, broken us, you were angry, come back to us!	1 لامام المغنين على السوسن. شهادة مذهبة لداود للتعليم. عند محاربته ارام النهرين وارام صوبة فرجع يوآب وضرب من ادوم في وادي الملح اثني عشر الفا‎. ‎يا الله رفضتنا اقتحمتنا سخطت. ارجعنا‎.
2 You made the earth tremble, split it open; now mend the rifts, it is tottering stil .	2 ‎زلزلت الارض فصمتها. اجبر كسرها لانها متزعزعة‎.
3 You have forced your people to drink a bitter draught, forced us to drink a wine that made us reel.	3 ‎اريت شعبك عسرا. سقيتنا خمر الترنح‎.
4 You gave a signal to those who fear you to let them escape out of range of the bow.Pause	4 ‎اعطيت خائفيك راية ترفع لاجل الحق. سلاه‎.
5 To rescue those you love, save with your right hand and answer us.	5 ‎لكي ينجو احباؤك. خلّص بيمينك واستجب لي
6 God has spoken from his sanctuary, 'In triumph I wil divide up Shechem, and share out the Valley ofSuccoth.	6 الله قد تكلم بقدسه. أبتهج اقسم شكيم واقيس وادي سكوت‎.
7 'Mine is Gilead, mine Manasseh, Ephraim the helmet on my head, Judah my commander's baton,	7 ‎لي جلعاد ولي منسّى وافرايم خوذة راسي يهوذا صولجاني‎.
8 'Moab a bowl for me to wash in, on Edom I plant my sandal. Now try shouting "Victory!" over me,Philistia!'	8 ‎موآب مرحضتي. على ادوم اطرح نعلي. يا فلسطين اهتفي عليّ
9 Who wil lead me against a fortified city, who wil guide me into Edom,	9 من يقودني الى المدينة المحصّنة. من يهديني الى ادوم‎.
10 if not you, the God who has rejected us? God, you no longer march with our armies.	10 ‎أليس انت يا الله الذي رفضتنا ولا تخرج يا الله مع جيوشنا‎.
11 Bring us help in our time of crisis, any human help is worthless.	11 ‎اعطنا عونا في الضيق فباطل هو خلاص الانسان‎.
12 With God we shal do deeds of valour, he wil trample down our enemies.	12 ‎بالله نصنع ببأس وهو يدوس اعداءنا
