4 for no guilt, they come running to take up position. Wake up, stand by me and keep watch,	4 Mert íme, életemre leselkednek, rám rohannak az erősek.
5 Yahweh, God of Sabaoth, God of Israel, rise up, to punish al the nations, show no mercy to all thesemalicious traitors.Pause	5 Bár nincs bennem sem bűn, sem gonoszság, Uram, bűn nélkül járom egyenes utamat. Kelj fel, állj elém és lásd;
6 Back they come at nightfall, snarling like curs, prowling through the town.	6 Hisz Uram, a seregek Istene te vagy, Izrael Istene. Siess, látogasd meg e nemzeteket mind, ne könyörülj senkin, aki gonoszat cselekszik!
7 Look how they rant in speech with swords on their lips, 'Who is there to hear us?'	7 Minden este megjelennek, mint az éhes kutyák, s a várost körös-körül bejárják.
8 For your part, Yahweh, you laugh at them, you make mockery of all nations.	8 Íme egyre jártatják szájukat, kard van ajkukon: »hiszen ki hallja meg?«
9 My strength, I keep my eyes fixed on you. For my stronghold is God,	9 Ám te, Uram, kineveted őket, megsemmisíted mind e nemzeteket.
10 the God who loves me faithfully is coming to meet me, God will let me feast my eyes on those who liein wait for me.	10 Én erősségem, terád figyelek, mert te vagy én oltalmam, Istenem.
11 Do not annihilate them, or my people may forget; shake them in your power, bring them low, Lord,our shield.	11 Istenem, akinek irgalma megelőz engem.
12 Sin is in their mouths, sin on their lips, so let them be trapped in their pride for the curses and lies thatthey utter.	12 Isten megadja nekem, hogy elnézzek ellenségeim fölött. Ne öld meg őket, hogy népem meg ne feledkezzék; de hatalmaddal szórd szerteszét és alázd meg őket, Uram, én oltalmazóm!
13 Destroy them in your anger, destroy them til they are no more, and let it be known that God is Masterin Jacob and the whole wide world.Pause	13 Szájuk vétke, ajkuk beszéde, saját kevélységük ejtse őket tőrbe! Átkozódásukért, hazug beszédükért

16 And so I wil sing of your strength, in the morning acclaim your faithful love; you have been astronghold for me, a refuge when I was in trouble.	16 Étel után barangolnak, és üvöltenek, ha jól nem laknak.
17 My strength, I wil make music for you, for my stronghold is God, the God who loves me faithful y.	17 Én azonban hatalmadat énekelem, minden reggel magasztalom irgalmadat, mivel te oltalmazóm voltál, és menedékem sanyargatásom napján.
