2 plotting crime? Your tongue is razor-sharp, you artist in perfidy.	2 Son corrotti, son divenuti abbominevoli nelle loro iniquità, non v'è nessuno che faccia il bene.
3 You prefer evil to good, lying to uprightness. Pause	3 Dio dal cielo volge lo sguardo sui figli degli uomini, per vedere se ce n'è uno che capisca o che ricerchi Dio:
4 You revel in destructive talk, treacherous tongue!	4 Tutti sono usciti di strada e resi ugualmente inutili; non c'è nessuno che faccia il bene, neppure uno.
5 That is why God wil crush you, destroy you once and for all, snatch you from your tent, uproot youfrom the land of the living.Pause	5 Non se ne avvedranno tutti gli operatori d'iniquità, quei che divorano il mio popolo come un pezzo di pane?
6 The upright wil be awestruck as they see it, they wil mock him,	6 Non hanno invocato il Signore: là tremaron di paura dove non c'era da temere. Perchè il Signore spezza le ossa di coloro che piaccion agli uomini; son restati confusi, perchè Dio li ha disprezzati.
7 'So much for someone who would not place his reliance in God, but relied on his own great wealth,and made himself strong by crime.'	7 Chi darà da Sionne la salvezza a Israele? Quando il Signore farà tornare dalla schiavitù il suo popolo, esulterà Giacobbe, si rallegrerà Israele.
8 But I, like a flourishing olive tree in the house of God, put my trust in God's faithful love, for ever andever.
9 I shal praise you for ever for what you have done, and shal trust in your name, so ful of goodness, inthe presence of your faithful.
