2 plotting crime? Your tongue is razor-sharp, you artist in perfidy.	2 Quando l’idumeo Doeg andò da Saul per informarlo e dirgli: «Davide è entrato in casa di Achimèlec».
3 You prefer evil to good, lying to uprightness. Pause	3 Perché ti vanti del male, o prepotente?Dio è fedele ogni giorno.
4 You revel in destructive talk, treacherous tongue!	4 Tu escogiti insidie;la tua lingua è come lama affilata,o artefice d’inganni!
5 That is why God wil crush you, destroy you once and for all, snatch you from your tent, uproot youfrom the land of the living.Pause	5 Tu ami il male invece del bene,la menzogna invece della giustizia.
6 The upright wil be awestruck as they see it, they wil mock him,	6 Tu ami ogni parola che distrugge,o lingua d’inganno.
7 'So much for someone who would not place his reliance in God, but relied on his own great wealth,and made himself strong by crime.'	7 Perciò Dio ti demolirà per sempre,ti spezzerà e ti strapperà dalla tendae ti sradicherà dalla terra dei viventi.
8 But I, like a flourishing olive tree in the house of God, put my trust in God's faithful love, for ever andever.	8 I giusti vedranno e avranno timoree di lui rideranno:
9 I shal praise you for ever for what you have done, and shal trust in your name, so ful of goodness, inthe presence of your faithful.	9 «Ecco l’uomo che non ha posto Dio come sua fortezza,ma ha confidato nella sua grande ricchezzae si è fatto forte delle sue insidie».
	10 Ma io, come olivo verdeggiante nella casa di Dio,confido nella fedeltà di Dioin eterno e per sempre.
	11 Voglio renderti grazie in eternoper quanto hai operato;spero nel tuo nome, perché è buono,davanti ai tuoi fedeli.
