¹ [For the choirmaster For flutes Psalm Of David] Give ear to my words, Yahweh, spare a thought for mysighing.	¹ Du maître de chant. Sur les flûtes. Psaume de David.
² Listen to my cry for help, my King and my God! To you I pray,	² Ma parole, entends-la, Yahvé, discerne ma plainte,
³ Yahweh. At daybreak you hear my voice; at daybreak I lay my case before you and fix my eyes on you.	³ attentif à la voix de mon appel, ô mon Roi et mon Dieu! C'est toi que je prie,
⁴ You are not a God who takes pleasure in evil, no sinner can be your guest.	⁴ Yahvé! Au matin tu écoutes ma voix; au matin je fais pour toi les apprêts et je reste aux aguets.
⁵ Boasters cannot stand their ground under your gaze. You hate evil-doers,	⁵ Tu n'es pas un Dieu agréant l'impiété, le méchant n'est pas ton hôte;
⁶ liars you destroy; the violent and deceitful Yahweh detests.	⁶ non, les arrogants ne tiennent pas devant ton regard. Tu hais tous les malfaisants,
⁷ But, so great is your faithful love, I may come into your house, and before your holy temple bow down inreverence of you.	⁷ tu fais périr les imposteurs; l'homme de sang et de fraude, Yahvé le hait.
⁸ In your saving justice, Yahweh, lead me, because of those who lie in wait for me; make your way plainbefore me.	⁸ Et moi, par la grandeur de ton amour, j'accède à ta maison; vers ton Temple sacré je me prosterne,pénétré de ta crainte.
⁹ Not a word from their lips can be trusted, through and through they are destruction, their throats arewide -- open graves, their tongues seductive.	⁹ Yahvé, guide-moi dans ta justice à cause de ceux qui me guettent, redresse devant moi ton chemin.
¹⁰ Lay the guilt on them, God, make their intrigues their own downfal ; for their countless offences, thrustthem from you, since they have rebel ed against you.	¹⁰ Non, rien n'est sûr dans leur bouche, et leur fond n'est que ruine, leur gosier est un sépulcre béant,mielleuse se fait leur langue.
¹¹ But joy for al who take refuge in you, endless songs of gladness! You shelter them, they rejoice inyou, those who love your name.	¹¹ Traite-les en coupables, ô Dieu, qu'ils échouent dans leurs intrigues; pour leurs crimes sansnombre, repousse-les, pour leur révolte contre toi.
¹² It is you who bless the upright, Yahweh, you surround them with favour as with a shield.	¹² Joie pour tous ceux que tu abrites, réjouissance à jamais; tu les protèges, en toi exultent les amantsde ton nom.
	¹³ Toi, tu bénis le juste, Yahvé, comme un bouclier, ta faveur le couronne.
