2 Children of men, how long will you be heavy of heart, why love what is vain and chase afteril usions?Pause	2 Al mio grido rispondimi, o Dio della mia giustizia; nell'angustia fammi largo; abbi pietà di me e ascolta la mia preghiera.
3 Realise that Yahweh performs wonders for his faithful, Yahweh listens when I call to him.	3 O figli d'uomo, fino a quando la mia gloria terrete in obbrobrio, amerete la vanità, ricercherete la menzogna?
4 Be careful not to sin, speak in your hearts, and on your beds keep silence.Pause	4 Ma sappiate che il Signore mi elargì la sua misericordia; il Signore ascolta quando a lui elevo il mio grido.
5 Loyally offer sacrifices, and trust in Yahweh.	5 Riflettete nei vostri cuori, ma non peccate; adiratevi nei vostri giacigli, ma tacete;
6 Many keep saying, 'Who wil put happiness before our eyes?' Let the light of your face shine on us.Yahweh,	6 offrite sacrifici legittimi e abbiate fiducia nel Signore.
7 to my heart you are a richer joy than al their corn and new wine.	7 Molti sono quelli che dicono: "Chi ci farà gustare il bene? Fuggita è da noi, o Signore, la luce del tuo volto".
8 In peace I lie down and at once fall asleep, for it is you and none other, Yahweh, who make me restsecure.	8 Gioia hai posto nel mio cuore più di quando abbondino grano e mosto.
	9 In pace, appena mi corico, m'addormento, poiché tu, o Signore, anche se solo, in sicurezza mi fai riposare.
