NEW JERUSALEM	SAGRADA BIBLIA
1 [For the choirmaster Of the servant of Yahweh Of David] Sin is the oracle of the wicked in the depthsof his heart; there is no fear of God before his eyes.	1 Ao mestre de canto. De Davi, servo do Senhor. A iniqüidade fala ao ímpio no seu coração; não existe o temor a Deus ante os seus olhos,
2 He sees himself with too flattering an eye to detect and detest his guilt;	2 porque ele se gloria de que sua culpa não será descoberta nem detestada por ninguém.
3 al he says is malicious and deceitful, he has turned his back on wisdom. To get his way	3 Suas palavras são más e enganosas; renunciou a proceder sabiamente e a fazer o bem.
4 he hatches malicious plots even in his bed; once set on his evil course no wickedness is too much forhim.	4 Em seu leito ele medita o crime, anda pelo mau caminho, não detesta o mal.
5 Yahweh, your faithful love is in the heavens, your constancy reaches to the clouds,	5 Senhor, vossa bondade chega até os céus, vossa fidelidade se eleva até as nuvens.
6 your saving justice is like towering mountains, your judgements like the mighty deep. Yahweh, yousupport both man and beast;	6 Vossa justiça é semelhante às montanhas de Deus, vossos juízos são profundos como o mar. Vós protegeis, Senhor, os homens como os animais.
7 how precious, God, is your faithful love. So the children of Adam take refuge in the shadow of yourwings.	7 Como é preciosa a vossa bondade, ó Deus! À sombra de vossas asas se refugiam os filhos dos homens.
8 They feast on the bounty of your house, you let them drink from your delicious streams;	8 Eles se saciam da abundância de vossa casa, e lhes dais de beber das torrentes de vossas delícias,
9 in you is the source of life, by your light we see the light.	9 porque em vós está a fonte da vida, e é na vossa luz que vemos a luz.
10 Maintain your faithful love to those who acknowledge you, and your saving justice to the honest ofheart.	10 Continuai a dar vossa bondade aos que vos honram, e a vossa justiça aos retos de coração.
11 Do not let the foot of the arrogant overtake me or wicked hands drive me away.	11 Não me calque o pé do orgulhoso, não me faça fugir a mão do pecador.
12 There they have fallen, the evil-doers, flung down, never to rise again.	12 Eis que caíram os fautores da iniqüidade, foram prostrados para não mais se erguer.
