Psalms 36

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 [For the choirmaster Of the servant of Yahweh Of David] Sin is the oracle of the wicked in the depthsof his heart; there is no fear of God before his eyes.	1 Del maestro de coro. De David, el servidor del Señor.
2 He sees himself with too flattering an eye to detect and detest his guilt;	2 El pecado habla al impío en el fondo de su corazón; para él no hay temor de Dios,
3 al he says is malicious and deceitful, he has turned his back on wisdom. To get his way	3 porque se mira con tan buenos ojos que no puede descubrir ni aborrecer su culpa.
4 he hatches malicious plots even in his bed; once set on his evil course no wickedness is too much forhim.	4 Las palabras de su boca son maldad y traición; dejó de ser sensato y de practicar el bien;
5 Yahweh, your faithful love is in the heavens, your constancy reaches to the clouds,	5 en su lecho, sólo piensa hacer el mal, se obstina en el camino del crimen y no reprueba al malvado.
6 your saving justice is like towering mountains, your judgements like the mighty deep. Yahweh, yousupport both man and beast;	6 Tu misericordia, Señor, llega hasta el cielo, tu fidelidad hasta las nubes.
7 how precious, God, is your faithful love. So the children of Adam take refuge in the shadow of yourwings.	7 Tu justicia es como las altas montañas, tus juicios, como un océano inmenso. Tú socorres a los hombres y a las bestias:
8 They feast on the bounty of your house, you let them drink from your delicious streams;	8 ¡qué inapreciable es tu misericordia, oh Dios! Por eso los hombres se refugian a la sombra de tus alas.
9 in you is the source of life, by your light we see the light.	9 Se sacian con la abundancia de tu casa, les das de beber del torrente de tus delicia.
10 Maintain your faithful love to those who acknowledge you, and your saving justice to the honest ofheart.	10 En ti está la fuente de la vida, y por tu luz vemos la luz.
11 Do not let the foot of the arrogant overtake me or wicked hands drive me away.	11 Extiende tu gracia sobre los que te reconocen, y tu justicia sobre los rectos del corazón.
12 There they have fallen, the evil-doers, flung down, never to rise again.	12 ¡Que el pie del orgulloso no me alcance ni me derribe la mano del malvado!
	13 Miren cómo cayeron los malhechores: fueron derribados, y ya no podrán levantarse.
