NEW JERUSALEM	LA SACRA BIBBIA
1 [For the choirmaster Of the servant of Yahweh Of David] Sin is the oracle of the wicked in the depthsof his heart; there is no fear of God before his eyes.	1 Al maestro di coro. Di Davide, servo del Signore.
2 He sees himself with too flattering an eye to detect and detest his guilt;	2 Il peccato sussurra all'empio nel suo cuore, timore di Dio non c'è davanti ai suoi occhi.
3 al he says is malicious and deceitful, he has turned his back on wisdom. To get his way	3 Dio lascia che s'illuda ai suoi stessi occhi quanto allo scoprir la sua colpa e il suo castigo.
4 he hatches malicious plots even in his bed; once set on his evil course no wickedness is too much forhim.	4 Malvagità e inganno sono le parole della sua bocca, ha cessato di agire saggiamente e di fare il bene.
5 Yahweh, your faithful love is in the heavens, your constancy reaches to the clouds,	5 Escogita malizia sul suo giaciglio, fermo rimane sulla via non buona, il male non vuol rigettare.
6 your saving justice is like towering mountains, your judgements like the mighty deep. Yahweh, yousupport both man and beast;	6 O Signore, fino ai cieli è la tua misericordia, fino alle nubi la tua fedeltà.
7 how precious, God, is your faithful love. So the children of Adam take refuge in the shadow of yourwings.	7 La tua giustizia è come i monti divini, il tuo giudizio come l'immenso abisso. Uomini e fiere tu salvi, o Signore.
8 They feast on the bounty of your house, you let them drink from your delicious streams;	8 Quanto ricca è la tua misericordia, o Dio! I figli degli uomini cercano rifugio all'ombra delle tue ali.
9 in you is the source of life, by your light we see the light.	9 Della ricchezza della tua casa essi s'inebriano e al torrente delle tue delizie tu li disseti.
10 Maintain your faithful love to those who acknowledge you, and your saving justice to the honest ofheart.	10 Poiché presso di te è la fonte della vita; alla tua luce noi vedremo la luce.
11 Do not let the foot of the arrogant overtake me or wicked hands drive me away.	11 Mostra sempre la tua misericordia a coloro che ti temono, e la tua giustizia ai retti di cuore.
12 There they have fallen, the evil-doers, flung down, never to rise again.	12 Non permettere che mi raggiunga il piede dei superbi e non mi costringa alla fuga la mano degli empi.
	13 Ecco, i malfattori sono caduti, sono inciampati e non si possono rialzare.
