1 [For the choirmaster Psalm Of David] In you, Yahweh, I have taken refuge, let me never be put toshame, in your saving justice deliver me, rescue me,	1 למנצח מזמור לדוד בך יהוה חסיתי אל אבושה לעולם בצדקתך פלטני
2 turn your ear to me, make haste. Be for me a rock-fastness, a fortified citadel to save me.	2 הטה אלי אזנך מהרה הצילני היה לי לצור מעוז לבית מצודות להושיעני
3 You are my rock, my rampart; true to your name, lead me and guide me!	3 כי סלעי ומצודתי אתה ולמען שמך תנחני ותנהלני
4 Draw me out of the net they have spread for me, for you are my refuge;	4 תוציאני מרשת זו טמנו לי כי אתה מעוזי
5 to your hands I commit my spirit, by you have I been redeemed. God of truth,	5 בידך אפקיד רוחי פדיתה אותי יהוה אל אמת
6 you hate those who serve useless idols; but my trust is in Yahweh:	6 שנאתי השמרים הבלי שוא ואני אל יהוה בטחתי
7 I will delight and rejoice in your faithful love! You, who have seen my misery, and witnessed themiseries of my soul,	7 אגילה ואשמחה בחסדך אשר ראית את עניי ידעת בצרות נפשי
8 have not handed me over to the enemy, but have given me freedom to roam at large.	8 ולא הסגרתני ביד אויב העמדת במרחב רגלי
9 Take pity on me, Yahweh, for I am in trouble. Vexation is gnawing away my eyes, my soul deep within me.	9 חנני יהוה כי צר לי עששה בכעס עיני נפשי ובטני
10 For my life is worn out with sorrow, and my years with sighs. My strength gives way under my misery,and my bones are al wasted away.	10 כי כלו ביגון חיי ושנותי באנחה כשל בעוני כחי ועצמי עששו
11 The sheer number of my enemies makes me contemptible, loathsome to my neighbours, and myfriends shrink from me in horror. When people see me in the street they take to their heels.	11 מכל צררי הייתי חרפה ולשכני מאד ופחד למידעי ראי בחוץ נדדו ממני
12 I have no more place in their hearts than a corpse, or something lost.	12 נשכחתי כמת מלב הייתי ככלי אבד
13 Al I hear is slander -- terror wherever I turn -- as they plot together against me, scheming to take mylife.	13 כי שמעתי דבת רבים מגור מסביב בהוסדם יחד עלי לקחת נפשי זממו
14 But my trust is in you, Yahweh; I say, 'You are my God,'	14 ואני עליך בטחתי יהוה אמרתי אלהי אתה
15 every moment of my life is in your hands, rescue me from the clutches of my foes who pursue me;	15 בידך עתתי הצילני מיד אויבי ומרדפי
16 let your face shine on your servant, save me in your faithful love.	16 האירה פניך על עבדך הושיעני בחסדך
17 I cal on you, Yahweh, so let disgrace fal not on me, but on the wicked. Let them go down to Sheol insilence,	17 יהוה אל אבושה כי קראתיך יבשו רשעים ידמו לשאול
18 muzzles on their lying mouths, which speak arrogantly against the upright in pride and contempt.	18 תאלמנה שפתי שקר הדברות על צדיק עתק בגאוה ובוז
19 Yahweh, what quantities of good things you have in store for those who fear you, and bestow onthose who make you their refuge, for al humanity to see.	19 מה רב טובך אשר צפנת ליראיך פעלת לחסים בך נגד בני אדם
20 Safe in your presence you hide them, far from human plotting, shielding them in your tent, far fromcontentious tongues.	20 תסתירם בסתר פניך מרכסי איש תצפנם בסכה מריב לשנות
21 Blessed be Yahweh who works for me miracles of his faithful love (in a fortified city)!	21 ברוך יהוה כי הפליא חסדו לי בעיר מצור
22 In a state of terror I cried, 'I have been cut off from your sight!' Yet you heard my plea for help when Icried out to you.	22 ואני אמרתי בחפזי נגרזתי מנגד עיניך אכן שמעת קול תחנוני בשועי אליך
23 Love Yahweh, al his faithful: Yahweh protects his loyal servants, but he repays the arrogant withinterest.	23 אהבו את יהוה כל חסידיו אמונים נצר יהוה ומשלם על יתר עשה גאוה
24 Be brave, take heart, al who put your hope in Yahweh.	24 חזקו ויאמץ לבבכם כל המיחלים ליהוה
