NEW JERUSALEM	LA SACRA BIBBIA
1 [Of David] Yahweh, be my judge! I go on my way in innocence, my trust in Yahweh never wavers.	1 Di Davide. Sii tu il mio giudice, o Signore, poiché nell'integrità ho camminato. Nel Signore confido, non vacillerò.
2 Probe me, Yahweh, examine me, Test my heart and my mind in the fire.	2 Scrutami, o Signore, e saggiami, prova al crogiolo i miei reni e il mio cuore.
3 For your faithful love is before my eyes, and I live my life by your truth.	3 Sì, la tua misericordia sta sempre davanti ai miei occhi, e cammino nella tua fedeltà.
4 No sitting with wastrels for me, no travel ing with hypocrites;	4 Non mi sono mai assiso con uomini iniqui, né m'incammino con persone d'inganno;
5 I hate the company of sinners, I refuse to sit down with the wicked.	5 ho in odio la compagnia degli empi e non prendo posto in mezzo ai malvagi.
6 I will wash my hands in innocence and join the procession round your altar, Yahweh,	6 Nell'innocenza voglio lavar le mie mani e girare intorno al tuo altare, o Signore,
7 to make heard the sound of thanksgiving, to proclaim all your wonders.	7 per far udire la voce della lode e a tutti proclamare le tue meraviglie.
8 Yahweh, I love the beauty of your house and the place where your glory dwel s.	8 Io amo, o Signore, la dimora della tua casa, il luogo dove ha sede la tua gloria.
9 Do not couple me with sinners, nor my life with men of violence,	9 Non rapire la mia anima insieme ai peccatori, né la mia vita con gli uomini di sangue,
10 whose hands are stained with guilt, their right hands heavy with bribes.	10 nelle cui mani non v'è che inganno, mentre colma di doni è la loro destra.
11 In innocence I will go on my way; ransom me, take pity on me.	11 Ma io, nella mia integrità cammino, riscattami e abbi di me pietà.
12 I take my stand on the right path; I wil bless you, Yahweh, in the assemblies.	12 Sta saldo il mio piede sulla terra piana. Nell'assemblea ti benedirò, o Signore.
