NEW JERUSALEM	NOVA VULGATA
1 [Of David] Yahweh, be my judge! I go on my way in innocence, my trust in Yahweh never wavers.	1 David. Iudica me, Domine, quoniam ego in innocentia mea ingressus sum et in Domino sperans non infirmabor.
2 Probe me, Yahweh, examine me, Test my heart and my mind in the fire.	2 Proba me, Domine, et tenta me; ure renes meos et cor meum. —
3 For your faithful love is before my eyes, and I live my life by your truth.	3 Quoniam misericordia tua ante oculos meos est, et ambulavi in veritate tua.
4 No sitting with wastrels for me, no travel ing with hypocrites;	4 Non sedi cum viris vanitatis et cum occulte agentibus non introibo.
5 I hate the company of sinners, I refuse to sit down with the wicked.	5 Odivi ecclesiam malignantium et cum impiis non sedebo.
6 I will wash my hands in innocence and join the procession round your altar, Yahweh,	6 Lavabo in innocentia manus meas et circumdabo altare tuum, Domine,
7 to make heard the sound of thanksgiving, to proclaim all your wonders.	7 ut auditas faciam voces laudis et enarrem universa mirabilia tua.
8 Yahweh, I love the beauty of your house and the place where your glory dwel s.	8 Domine, dilexi habitaculum domus tuae et locum habitationis gloriae tuae.
9 Do not couple me with sinners, nor my life with men of violence,	9 Ne colligas cum impiis animam meam et cum viris sanguinum vitam meam,
10 whose hands are stained with guilt, their right hands heavy with bribes.	10 in quorum manibus iniquitates sunt, dextera eorum repleta est muneribus.
11 In innocence I will go on my way; ransom me, take pity on me.	11 Ego autem in innocentia mea ingressus sum; redime me et miserere mei.
12 I take my stand on the right path; I wil bless you, Yahweh, in the assemblies.	12 Pes meus stetit in directo, in ecclesiis benedicam Domino.
