¹ [Of David] Yahweh, be my judge! I go on my way in innocence, my trust in Yahweh never wavers.	¹ David. Iudica me, Domine, quoniam ego in innocentia mea ingressus sum et in Domino sperans non infirmabor.
² Probe me, Yahweh, examine me, Test my heart and my mind in the fire.	² Proba me, Domine, et tenta me; ure renes meos et cor meum. —
³ For your faithful love is before my eyes, and I live my life by your truth.	³ Quoniam misericordia tua ante oculos meos est, et ambulavi in veritate tua.
⁴ No sitting with wastrels for me, no travel ing with hypocrites;	⁴ Non sedi cum viris vanitatis et cum occulte agentibus non introibo.
⁵ I hate the company of sinners, I refuse to sit down with the wicked.	⁵ Odivi ecclesiam malignantium et cum impiis non sedebo.
⁶ I will wash my hands in innocence and join the procession round your altar, Yahweh,	⁶ Lavabo in innocentia manus meas et circumdabo altare tuum, Domine,
⁷ to make heard the sound of thanksgiving, to proclaim all your wonders.	⁷ ut auditas faciam voces laudis et enarrem universa mirabilia tua.
⁸ Yahweh, I love the beauty of your house and the place where your glory dwel s.	⁸ Domine, dilexi habitaculum domus tuae et locum habitationis gloriae tuae.
⁹ Do not couple me with sinners, nor my life with men of violence,	⁹ Ne colligas cum impiis animam meam et cum viris sanguinum vitam meam,
¹⁰ whose hands are stained with guilt, their right hands heavy with bribes.	¹⁰ in quorum manibus iniquitates sunt, dextera eorum repleta est muneribus.
¹¹ In innocence I will go on my way; ransom me, take pity on me.	¹¹ Ego autem in innocentia mea ingressus sum; redime me et miserere mei.
¹² I take my stand on the right path; I wil bless you, Yahweh, in the assemblies.	¹² Pes meus stetit in directo, in ecclesiis benedicam Domino.
