1 [Psalm Of David] To Yahweh belong the earth and al it contains, the world and al who live there;	1 - Al corifeo. Salmo di David.
2 it is he who laid its foundations on the seas, on the flowing waters fixed it firm.	2 A te, o Signore, io levo l'anima mia, dio mio, [a te rivolgo la mia preghiera]. In te confido: ch'io non sia svergognato,
3 Who shal go up to the mountain of Yahweh? Who shal take a stand in his holy place?	3 nè si faccian beffe di me i miei nemici! No, chiunque in te spera, non resterà confuso:
4 The clean of hands and pure of heart, whose heart is not set on vanities, who does not swear an oathin order to deceive.	4 saran confusi tutti quei che fanno il male invano. Le tue vie, o Signore, fammi conoscere, e i tuoi sentieri insegnami.
5 Such a one wil receive blessing from Yahweh, saving justice from the God of his salvation.	5 Guidami nella tua verità e ammaestrami, perchè tu sei Iddio mio salvatore, e in te spero tutto il dì.
6 Such is the people that seeks him, that seeks your presence, God of Jacob.Pause	6 Rammenta le tue tenerezze, o Signore, e le tue misericordie che sono ab eterno.
7 Gates, lift high your heads, raise high the ancient gateways, and the king of glory shal enter!	7 I falli della mia gioventù e le mie colpe non ricordare, [ma] secondo la tua misericordia ricordati di me, per la tua bontà, o Signore.
8 Who is he, this king of glory? It is Yahweh, strong and valiant, Yahweh valiant in battle.	8 Benigno e retto è il Signore; perciò mostra agli erranti la via.
9 Gates, lift high your heads, raise high the ancient gateways, and the king of glory shal enter!	9 Guida gli umili nella giustizia, insegna ai miti le sue vie.
10 Who is he, this king of glory? Yahweh Sabaoth, he is the king of glory.Pause	10 Le vie tutte del Signore son misericordia e fedeltà, per coloro che si dan cura del suo patto e de' suoi comandamenti.
	11 Per il tuo nome, o Signore, perdona al mio peccato, poichè è grande.
	12 Chi è l'uomo che teme il Signore? [Dio] gli mostra la via da scegliere.
	13 L'anima sua dimora nella prosperità, e la sua stirpe avrà la terra in retaggio.
	14 Sostegno è il Signore di coloro che lo temono, e la sua alleanza è là per essere ad essi manifestata.
	15 Gli occhi miei son sempre al Signore [rivolti], perchè egli distrigherà dal laccio i miei piedi.
	16 Volgiti a me ed abbi di me pietà, perché solo e misero io sono.
	17 Le ambasce del mio cuore si son moltiplicate: dalle mie angustie liberami tu!
	18 Vedi la mia miseria e il mio travaglio, e perdonami tutti i miei peccati.
	19 Guarda i miei nemici, che son tanti, e d'odio ingiusto m'odiano!
	20 Difendi l'anima mia e liberami, fa' ch' io non debba arrossire; poiché in te io [mi rifugio] e confido.
	21 Gl'innocenti e i retti si son stretti a me, perché in te ho riposto la mia speranza.
	22 Libera, o Dio, Israelloda tutte le sue tribolazioni.
