NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 [Psalm Of David] Yahweh, hear my prayer, listen to my pleading; in your constancy answer me, inyour saving justice;	1 Salmo de David. Señor, escucha mi oración, atiende a mi plegaria; respóndeme, por tu fidelidad y tu justicia.
2 do not put your servant on trial, for no one living can be found guiltless at your tribunal.	2 No llames a juicio a tu servidor, porque ningún ser viviente es justo en tu presencia.
3 An enemy is in deadly pursuit, crushing me into the ground, forcing me to live in darkness, like thoselong dead.	3 El enemigo me persiguió a muerte, aplastó mi vida contra el suelo; me introdujo en las tinieblas, como a los muertos de hace muchos años.
4 My spirit is faint, and within me my heart is numb with fear.	4 El aliento se extingue en mi interior, mi corazón desfallece en mi pecho.
5 I recal the days of old, reflecting on al your deeds, I ponder the works of your hands.	5 Me acuerdo de los tiempos pasados, medito todas tus acciones; considero la obra de tus manos
6 I stretch out my hands to you, my heart like a land thirsty for you.Pause	6 y extiendo mis brazos hacia ti: suspiro por ti como tierra reseca.
7 Answer me quickly, Yahweh, my spirit is worn out; do not turn away your face from me, or I shal belike those who sink into oblivion.	7 Respóndeme en seguida, Señor, porque estoy sin aliento. No me ocultes tu rostro, para que yo no sea como los que bajan a la fosa.
8 Let dawn bring news of your faithful love, for I place my trust in you; show me the road I must travelfor you to relieve my heart.	8 Que yo experimente tu amor por la mañana, porque confío en ti; indícame el camino que debo seguir, porque a ti elevo mi alma.
9 Rescue me from my enemies, Yahweh, since in you I find protection.	9 Líbrame, Señor, de mis enemigos, porque me refugio en ti;
10 Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your generous spirit lead me on even ground.	10 enséñame a hacer tu voluntad, porque tú eres mi Dios. Que tu espíritu bondadoso me conduzca por una tierra llana.
11 Yahweh, for the sake of your name, in your saving justice give me life, rescue me from distress.	11 Por amor de tu Nombre, Señor, consérvame la vida. Por tu justicia, sácame del peligro;
12 In your faithful love annihilate my enemies, destroy al those who oppress me, for I am your servant.	12 por tu fidelidad, destruye a mi enemigo; aniquila a mis opresores, porque yo soy tu servidor.
