Psalms 127

NEW JERUSALEM	LXX
1 [Song of Ascents Of Solomon] If Yahweh does not build a house in vain do its builders toil. If Yahwehdoes not guard a city in vain does its guard keep watch.	1 ωδη των αναβαθμων μακαριοι παντες οι φοβουμενοι τον κυριον οι πορευομενοι εν ταις οδοις αυτου
2 In vain you get up earlier, and put off going to bed, sweating to make a living, since it is he whoprovides for his beloved as they sleep.	2 τους πονους των καρπων σου φαγεσαι μακαριος ει και καλως σοι εσται
3 Sons are a birthright from Yahweh, children are a reward from him.	3 η γυνη σου ως αμπελος ευθηνουσα εν τοις κλιτεσι της οικιας σου οι υιοι σου ως νεοφυτα ελαιων κυκλω της τραπεζης σου
4 Like arrows in a warrior's hand are the sons you father when young.	4 ιδου ουτως ευλογηθησεται ανθρωπος ο φοβουμενος τον κυριον
5 How blessed is the man who has fil ed his quiver with them; in dispute with his enemies at the citygate he wil not be worsted.	5 ευλογησαι σε κυριος εκ σιων και ιδοις τα αγαθα ιερουσαλημ πασας τας ημερας της ζωης σου
