2 Friend tel s lies to friend, and, smooth-tongued, speaks from an insincere heart.	2 Fino a quando accumulerò preoccupazioni nell'anima mia, ambascia nel mio cuore giorno [e notte]?
3 May Yahweh cut away every smooth lip, every boastful tongue,	3 Sino a quando trionferà su di me il mio nemico? Da' luce a' miei occhi, che non mi addormenti nel [sonno del] la morte.
4 those who say, 'In our tongue lies our strength, our lips are our al ies; who can master us?'	4 Guarda e ascoltami, Signore Dio mio,
5 'For the poor who are plundered, the needy who groan, now wil I act,' says Yahweh, 'I wil grantsalvation to those who sigh for it.'	5 affinchè non dica il mio nemico: «L' ho sopraffatto!», [e] i miei persecutori non esultino, quand'io barcolli.
6 Yahweh's promises are promises unal oyed, natural silver which comes from the earth seven timesrefined.	6 Ma io spero nella tua benignità: esulterà il mio cuore per la tua salvezza! Canterò al Signore, mio benefattore, e inneggerò al nome del Signore, dell'Altissimo.
7 You, Yahweh, wil watch over them, you will protect them from that brood for ever.
8 The wicked wil scatter in every direction, as the height of depravity among the children of Adam.
