1 [For the choirmaster On the octachord Psalm Of David] Help, Yahweh! No one loyal is left, the faithfulhave vanished from among the children of Adam.	1 למנצח על השמינית מזמור לדוד הושיעה יהוה כי גמר חסיד כי פסו אמונים מבני אדם
2 Friend tel s lies to friend, and, smooth-tongued, speaks from an insincere heart.	2 שוא ידברו איש את רעהו שפת חלקות בלב ולב ידברו
3 May Yahweh cut away every smooth lip, every boastful tongue,	3 יכרת יהוה כל שפתי חלקות לשון מדברת גדלות
4 those who say, 'In our tongue lies our strength, our lips are our al ies; who can master us?'	4 אשר אמרו ללשננו נגביר שפתינו אתנו מי אדון לנו
5 'For the poor who are plundered, the needy who groan, now wil I act,' says Yahweh, 'I wil grantsalvation to those who sigh for it.'	5 משד עניים מאנקת אביונים עתה אקום יאמר יהוה אשית בישע יפיח לו
6 Yahweh's promises are promises unal oyed, natural silver which comes from the earth seven timesrefined.	6 אמרות יהוה אמרות טהרות כסף צרוף בעליל לארץ מזקק שבעתים
7 You, Yahweh, wil watch over them, you will protect them from that brood for ever.	7 אתה יהוה תשמרם תצרנו מן הדור זו לעולם
