Al eluia! How blessed is anyone who fears Yahweh, who delights in his commandments!1 Alleluia. Praise the Lord, children. Praise the name of the Lord.
His descendants shal be powerful on earth, the race of the honest shal receive blessings:2 Blessed is the name of the Lord, from this time forward and even forever.
Riches and wealth for his family; his uprightness stands firm for ever.3 From the rising of the sun, even to its setting, praiseworthy is the name of the Lord.
For the honest he shines as a lamp in the dark, generous, tender-hearted, and upright.4 The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory is high above the heavens.
Al goes wel for one who lends generously, who is honest in al his dealing;5 Who is like the Lord, our God, who dwells on high,
for al time to come he wil not stumble, for al time to come the upright wil be remembered.6 and who gazes upon the humble things in heaven and on earth?
Bad news holds no fears for him, firm is his heart, trusting in Yahweh.7 He lifts up the needy from the ground, and he urges the poor away from filth,
His heart held steady, he has no fears, til he can gloat over his enemies.8 so that he may place him with the leaders, with the leaders of his people.
To the needy he gives without stint, his uprightness stands firm for ever; his reputation is founded onstrength.9 He causes a barren woman to live in a house, as the joyful mother of sons.
The wicked are vexed at the sight, they grind their teeth and waste away. The desires of the wickedwil be frustrated.
