NEW JERUSALEM	DIODATI
1 Al eluia! How blessed is anyone who fears Yahweh, who delights in his commandments!	1 ALLELUIA, Beato l’uomo che teme il Signore, E si diletta sommamente ne’ suoi comandamenti.
2 His descendants shal be powerful on earth, the race of the honest shal receive blessings:	2 La sua progenie sarà possente in terra; La generazione degli uomini diritti sarà benedetta.
3 Riches and wealth for his family; his uprightness stands firm for ever.	3 Facoltà e ricchezze son nella sua casa, E la sua giustizia dimora in perpetuo.
4 For the honest he shines as a lamp in the dark, generous, tender-hearted, and upright.	4 La luce si leva nelle tenebre a quelli che son diritti. Un tale uomo è pietoso, misericordioso, e giusto.
5 Al goes wel for one who lends generously, who is honest in al his dealing;	5 L’uomo da bene dona, e presta; E governa i fatti suoi con dirittura
6 for al time to come he wil not stumble, for al time to come the upright wil be remembered.	6 Certo egli non sarà giammai smosso; Il giusto sarà in memoria perpetua.
7 Bad news holds no fears for him, firm is his heart, trusting in Yahweh.	7 Egli non temerà di mal grido; Il suo cuore è fermo, egli si confida nel Signore.
8 His heart held steady, he has no fears, til he can gloat over his enemies.	8 Il suo cuore è bene appoggiato, egli non avrà paura alcuna, Finchè vegga ne’ suoi nemici ciò ch’egli desidera.
9 To the needy he gives without stint, his uprightness stands firm for ever; his reputation is founded onstrength.	9 Egli ha sparso, egli ha donato a’ bisognosi; La sua giustizia dimora in perpetuo, Il suo corno sarà alzato in gloria.
10 The wicked are vexed at the sight, they grind their teeth and waste away. The desires of the wickedwil be frustrated.	10 L’empio lo vedrà, e dispetterà; Egli digrignerà i denti, e si struggerà; Il desiderio degli empi perirà
