New Jerusalem Bible	Peshitta ܦܫܝܼܛܬܵܐ
¹ [Song Psalm Of David] My heart is ready, God, I will sing and make music; come, my glory!
² Awake, lyre and harp, I will awake the Dawn!	² ܡܛܝܒ ܗܘ ܠܒܝ ܐܠܗܐ ܡܛܝܒ ܗܘ ܠܒܝ ܐܫܒܚ ܘܐܙܡܪ ܒܐܝܩܪܝ
³ I wil praise you among the peoples, Yahweh, I wil play to you among nations,	³ ܐܬܬܥܝܪ ܟܢܪܝ ܐܬܬܥܝܪ ܩܝܬܪܐ ܘܟܢܪܐ ܘܐܢܐ ܐܬܬܥܝܪ ܒܨܦܪܐ
⁴ for your faithful love towers to heaven, and your constancy to the clouds.	⁴ ܐܘܕܐ ܠܟ ܒܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܐܠܗܐ ܘܠܫܡܟ ܐܙܡܪ ܒܐ̈ܡܘܬܐ
⁵ Be exalted above the heavens, God. Your glory over the whole earth!	⁵ ܡܛܠ ܕܪܒܐ ܗܝ ܛܝܒܘܬܟ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܫܡܝܐ ܘܗܝܡܢܘܬܟ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܫ̈ܡܝ ܫܡܝܐ
⁶ To rescue those you love, save with your right hand and answer us.	⁶ ܐܬܬܪܝܡ ܥܠ ܫܡܝܐ ܐܠܗܐ ܘܥܠ ܟܠܗ̇ ܐܪܥܐ ܐܝܩܪܟ
⁷ God has spoken from his sanctuary, 'In triumph I wil divide up Shechem, and share out the Val ey ofSuccoth.	⁷ ܡܛܠ ܕܢܬܦܪܩܘܢ ܚܒܝ̈ܒܝܟ ܦܪܘܩܝܢܝ ܒܝܡܝܢܟ ܘܥܢܝܢܝ
⁸ 'Mine is Gilead, mine Manasseh, Ephraim the helmet on my head, Judah my commander's baton,	⁸ ܐܠܗܐ ܡܠܠ ܒܩܘܕܫܗ ܐܫܒܚ ܐܢܐ ܘܐܦܠܓ ܠܫܟܝܡ ܘܠܥܘܡܩܐ ܕܣܟܘܬ ܐܡܫܘܚ
⁹ 'Moab a bowl for me to wash in, on Edom I plant my sandal, over Philistia I cry victory.'	⁹ ܕܝܠܝ ܗܘ ܓܠܥܕ ܘܕܝܠܝ ܗܘ ܡܢܫܐ ܐܦܪܝܡ ܡܥܫܢܢܗ ܕܪܝܫܝ ܝܗܘܕܐ ܡܠܟܝ
¹⁰ Who will lead me against a fortified city, who wil guide me into Edom,	¹⁰ ܡܘܐܒ ܩܕܣܐ ܕܫܝܓܬܝ ܥܠ ܐܕܘܡ ܐܫܪܐ ܡ̈ܣܢܝ ܘܥܠ ܦܠܫܬ ܐܩܥܐ
¹¹ if not you, the God who has rejected us? God, you no longer march with our armies.	¹¹ ܡܢܘ ܢܘܒܠܢܝ ܠܩܪܝܬܐ ܥܫܝܢܬܐ ܘܡܢܘ ܢܕܒܪܢܝ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܐܕܘܡ
¹² Bring us help in our time of crisis, any human assistance is worthless.	¹² ܕܗܐ ܐܢܬ ܐܠܗܐ ܛܥܝܬܢ ܘܠܐ ܢܦܩ ܐܢܬ ܒܚܝܠܢ
¹³ With God we shal do deeds of valour, he wil trample down our enemies.	¹³ ܗܒ ܠܢ ܚܝܠܐ ܥܠ ܒ̈ܥܠܕܒܒܝܢ ܡܛܠ ܕܣܪܝܩ ܗܘ ܦܘܪܩܢܗ ܕܒܪܢܫܐ
