Psalms 101

NEW JERUSALEM	STUTTGARTENSIA-DELITZSCH
1 [Of David Psalm] I wil sing of faithful love and judgement; to you, Yahweh, will I make music.	1 לְדָוִד מִזְמֹור חֶסֶד־וּמִשְׁפָּט אָשִׁירָה לְךָ יְהוָה אֲזַמֵּרָה
2 I wil go forward in the path of the blameless; when will you come to me? I wil live in purity of heart, inmy house,	2 אַשְׂכִּילָה ׀ בְּדֶרֶךְ תָּמִים מָתַי תָּבֹוא אֵלָי אֶתְהַלֵּךְ בְּתָם־לְבָבִי בְּקֶרֶב בֵּיתִי
3 I wil not set before my eyes anything sordid. I hate those who act crookedly; this has no attraction forme.	3 לֹא־אָשִׁית ׀ לְנֶגֶד עֵינַי דְּבַר־בְּלִיָּעַל עֲשֹׂה־סֵטִים שָׂנֵאתִי לֹא יִדְבַּק בִּי
4 Let the perverse of heart keep away from me; the wicked I disregard.	4 לֵבָב עִקֵּשׁ יָסוּר מִמֶּנִּי רָע לֹא אֵדָע
5 One who secretly slanders a comrade, I reduce to silence; haughty looks, proud heart, these I cannotabide.	5 [מְלֹושְׁנִי כ] (מְלָשְׁנִי ק) בַסֵּתֶר ׀ רֵעֵהוּ אֹותֹו אַצְמִית גְּבַהּ־עֵינַיִם וּרְחַב לֵבָב אֹתֹו לֹא אוּכָל
6 I look to the faithful of the land to be my companions, only he who walks in the path of the blamelessshall be my servant.	6 עֵינַי ׀ בְּנֶאֶמְנֵי־אֶרֶץ לָשֶׁבֶת עִמָּדִי הֹלֵךְ בְּדֶרֶךְ תָּמִים הוּא יְשָׁרְתֵנִי
7 There is no room in my house for anyone who practises deceit; no liar wil stand his ground where Ican see him.	7 לֹא־יֵשֵׁב ׀ בְּקֶרֶב בֵּיתִי עֹשֵׂה רְמִיָּה דֹּבֵר שְׁקָרִים לֹא־יִכֹּון לְנֶגֶד עֵינָי
8 Morning after morning I reduce to silence al the wicked in the land, banishing from the city ofYahweh al evil-doers.	8 לַבְּקָרִים אַצְמִית כָּל־רִשְׁעֵי־אָרֶץ לְהַכְרִית מֵעִיר־יְהוָה כָּל־פֹּעֲלֵי אָוֶן
