1 [Of David Psalm] I wil sing of faithful love and judgement; to you, Yahweh, will I make music.	1 Salmo di Davide. IO canterò un cantico di benignità e di giudicio; Io te lo salmeggerò, o Signore.
2 I wil go forward in the path of the blameless; when will you come to me? I wil live in purity of heart, inmy house,	2 Io comporrò una maestrevol canzone intorno alla via intiera. Quando verrai a me? Io camminerò nell’integrità del mio cuore Dentro alla mia casa.
3 I wil not set before my eyes anything sordid. I hate those who act crookedly; this has no attraction forme.	3 Io non mi proporrò davanti agli occhi cosa alcuna scellerata; Io odio i fatti degli sviati; Niuno di essi mi starà appresso.
4 Let the perverse of heart keep away from me; the wicked I disregard.	4 Il cuor perverso si dipartirà da me; Io non conoscerò il malvagio.
5 One who secretly slanders a comrade, I reduce to silence; haughty looks, proud heart, these I cannotabide.	5 Io sterminerò chi sparlerà in segreto contro al suo prossimo; Io non comporterò l’uomo con gli occhi altieri, E col cuor gonfio.
6 I look to the faithful of the land to be my companions, only he who walks in the path of the blamelessshall be my servant.	6 Io avrò l’occhio sugli uomini leali della terra A ciò che dimorino meco; Chi cammina per la via intiera mi servirà.
7 There is no room in my house for anyone who practises deceit; no liar wil stand his ground where Ican see him.	7 Chi usa frode nelle sue opere non abiterà dentro alla mia casa; Chi parla menzogne non sarà stabilito davanti agli occhi miei.
8 Morning after morning I reduce to silence al the wicked in the land, banishing from the city ofYahweh al evil-doers.	8 Ogni mattina io distruggerò tutti gli empi del paese; Per isterminar dalla Città del Signore Tutti gli operatori d’iniquità
