Psalms 101

NEW JERUSALEM	LA SACRA BIBBIA
1 [Of David Psalm] I wil sing of faithful love and judgement; to you, Yahweh, will I make music.	1 Di Davide. Salmo. Misericordia ed equità canterò; inneggerò a te, o Signore.
2 I wil go forward in the path of the blameless; when will you come to me? I wil live in purity of heart, inmy house,	2 Agirò con saggezza nella via dell'innocenza, perché a me possa venire la verità, camminerò nell'integrità del mio cuore, nell'interno della mia casa.
3 I wil not set before my eyes anything sordid. I hate those who act crookedly; this has no attraction forme.	3 Non metterò davanti ai miei occhi alcuna azione malvagia. Ho in odio l'agire degli empi, non intendo aderirvi.
4 Let the perverse of heart keep away from me; the wicked I disregard.	4 Starà lontano da me ogni cuore perverso; non vorrò saperne del malvagio.
5 One who secretly slanders a comrade, I reduce to silence; haughty looks, proud heart, these I cannotabide.	5 Chi calunnia in segreto il suo prossimo, lo farò perire. Chi è altezzoso di occhi e superbo di cuore, non vorrò sopportarlo.
6 I look to the faithful of the land to be my companions, only he who walks in the path of the blamelessshall be my servant.	6 I miei occhi saranno sui fedeli del paese, perché stiano con me; chi va nella via dell'innocenza, questi sarà mio ministro.
7 There is no room in my house for anyone who practises deceit; no liar wil stand his ground where Ican see him.	7 Non dimorerà nella mia casa chi agisce con inganno; chi proferisce menzogne non reggerà davanti ai miei occhi.
8 Morning after morning I reduce to silence al the wicked in the land, banishing from the city ofYahweh al evil-doers.	8 Ogni mattina farò perire tutti gli empi del paese; estirperò dalla città del Signore tutti i malfattori.
