Psalms 101

NEW JERUSALEM	SAGRADA BIBLIA
1 [Of David Psalm] I wil sing of faithful love and judgement; to you, Yahweh, will I make music.	1 Salmo de Davi. Cantarei a bondade e a justiça. A vós, Senhor, salmodiarei.
2 I wil go forward in the path of the blameless; when will you come to me? I wil live in purity of heart, inmy house,	2 Pelo caminho reto quero seguir. Oh, quando vireis a mim? Caminharei na inocência de coração, no seio de minha família.
3 I wil not set before my eyes anything sordid. I hate those who act crookedly; this has no attraction forme.	3 Não proporei ante meus olhos nenhum pensamento culpável. Terei horror àquele que pratica o mal, não será ele meu amigo.
4 Let the perverse of heart keep away from me; the wicked I disregard.	4 Estará sempre longe de mim o coração perverso, não quero conhecer o mal.
5 One who secretly slanders a comrade, I reduce to silence; haughty looks, proud heart, these I cannotabide.	5 Exterminarei o que em segredo caluniar seu próximo. Não suportarei homem arrogante e de coração vaidoso.
6 I look to the faithful of the land to be my companions, only he who walks in the path of the blamelessshall be my servant.	6 Meus olhos se voltarão para os fiéis da terra, para fazê-los habitar comigo. Será meu servo o homem que segue o caminho reto.
7 There is no room in my house for anyone who practises deceit; no liar wil stand his ground where Ican see him.	7 O fraudulento não há de morar jamais em minha casa. Não subsistirá o mentiroso ante meus olhos.
8 Morning after morning I reduce to silence al the wicked in the land, banishing from the city ofYahweh al evil-doers.	8 Todos os dias extirparei da terra os ímpios, banindo da cidade do Senhor os que praticam o mal.
