Psalms 101

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 [Of David Psalm] I wil sing of faithful love and judgement; to you, Yahweh, will I make music.	1 De David. Salmo. Celebraré con un canto la bondad y la justicia: a ti, Señor, te cantaré;
2 I wil go forward in the path of the blameless; when will you come to me? I wil live in purity of heart, inmy house,	2 expondré con sensatez el camino perfecto: ¿cuándo vendrás en mi ayuda? Yo procedo con rectitud de corazón en los asuntos de mi casa;
3 I wil not set before my eyes anything sordid. I hate those who act crookedly; this has no attraction forme.	3 nunca pongo mis ojos en cosas infames. Detesto la conducta de los descarriados y no los cuento entre mis amigos;
4 Let the perverse of heart keep away from me; the wicked I disregard.	4 la gente falsa se aparta de mí y nunca apruebo al malvado.
5 One who secretly slanders a comrade, I reduce to silence; haughty looks, proud heart, these I cannotabide.	5 Al que difama en secreto a su prójimo lo hago desaparecer; al de mirada altiva y corazón soberbio no lo puedo soportar.
6 I look to the faithful of the land to be my companions, only he who walks in the path of the blamelessshall be my servant.	6 Pongo mis ojos en las personas leales para que estén cerca de mí; el que va por el camino perfecto es mi servidor.
7 There is no room in my house for anyone who practises deceit; no liar wil stand his ground where Ican see him.	7 No habita dentro de mi casa el hombre traicionero; la gente mentirosa no puede permanecer delante de mi vista.
8 Morning after morning I reduce to silence al the wicked in the land, banishing from the city ofYahweh al evil-doers.	8 Hago desaparecer día tras día los malvados del país, para extirpar de la Ciudad del Señor a todos los que hacen el mal.
