1 From the violet-purple, red-purple and crimson materials, they made the liturgical vestments forservice in the sanctuary. They made the sacred vestments for Aaron, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	1 Con la porpora viola e rossa, lo scarlatto e il lino finissimo fecero le vesti prescritte per officiare nel santuario. Fecero le vesti sacre per Aronne come Jahvè aveva ordinato a Mosè.
2 They made the ephod of gold, of violet-purple, red-purple and crimson materials and finely wovenlinen.	2 Fecero l’efod con oro, porpora viola e rossa, scarlatto e bisso ritorto;
3 They beat gold into thin plates and cut these into threads to work into the violet-purple, red-purple andcrimson materials and the fine linen by needlework.	3 batterono lamine d’oro, le tagliarono a striscie da intrecciare alla porpora viola e rossa, allo scarlatto e al lino finissimo, lavoro di artefice.
4 For the ephod they made shoulder-straps which were joined to it at its two edges.	4 Fecero per l’efod due spalline unite; era unito a esse dalle sue due estremità.
5 The waistband on the ephod to hold it in position, was of a piece with it and of the same workmanship:of gold, violet-purple, red-purple and finely woven linen, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	5 La sciarpa, che era nella parte superiore per legarlo, faceva un tutt’uno con esso ed era dello stesso lavoro: oro, porpora viola e rossa, scarlatto e finissimo lino ritorto: come Jahvè aveva ordinato a Mosè.
6 They worked the cornelians, mounted in gold setting, and engraved, like an engraved seal, with thenames of the sons of Israel,	6 Lavorarono pietre d’onice montate su castoni d’oro, che portavano incisi, con incisioni da sigillo, i nomi dei figli di Israele.
7 and put the stones on the shoulder-straps of the ephod, to commemorate the sons of Israel, asYahweh had ordered Moses.	7 Posero sulle spalline dell’efod le pietre che dovevano ricordare i figli di Israele, come Jahvè aveva ordinato a Mosè.
8 They made the breastplate of the same embroidered work as the ephod: of gold, violet-purple, red-purple and crimson materials and finely woven linen.	8 Fecero il pettorale — lavoro di artefice — di fattura uguale a quella dell’efod, con oro, porpora viola e rossa, scarlatto e finissimo lino ritorto.
9 It was square and doubled over, a span in length and a span in width.	9 Era quadrato, e fecero il pettorale doppio, lungo una spanna e largo una spanna.
10 In it they set four rows of stones: a sard, a topaz and an emerald, for the first row;	10 Lo riempirono con quattro file di pietre: un rubino, un topazio e uno smeraldo nella prima fila;

14 the stones corresponding to the names of the sons of Israel, twelve like their names, engraved likeseals, each with the name of one of the twelve tribes.	14 Le pietre portavano i nomi dei figli di Israele ed erano dodici come i loro nomi; erano incise come sigilli, ognuna con il suo nome secondo le dodici tribù.
15 For the breastplate they made chains of pure gold twisted like cords,	15 Per il pettorale fecero catenelle a treccia d’oro puro, come si lavorano i cordoni.
16 and they made two gold rosettes and two gold rings, putting the two rings on the two outside edgesof the breastplate	16 Fecero due castoni d’oro e due anelli d’oro e fissarono i due anelli alle estremità superiori del pettorale,

20 and they made two more gold rings and put them low down on the front of the two shoulder-straps ofthe ephod, close to the join, above the waistband of the ephod.	20 Fecero due anelli d’oro e li fissarono sulle due spalline dell’efod, in fondo alla parte anteriore vicino al punto d’unione, sopra la fascia dell’efod.
21 They secured the pectoral by a violet-purple cord passed through its rings and those of the ephod, sothat the pectoral would sit above the waistband and not come apart from the ephod, as Yahweh had orderedMoses.	21 Allacciarono il pettorale unendone gli anelli a quelli dell’efod per mezzo di una striscia di porpora viola, in modo che restasse sulla fascia dell’efod e non si potesse staccare dell’efod: come Jahvè aveva ordinato a Mosè.
22 They made the robe of the ephod woven entirely of violet-purple.	22 Fecero il manto dell’efod: un lavoro di tessitura, tutto di porpora viola
23 The opening in the centre of the robe was like the neck of a coat of mail; round the opening was aborder, so that it would not get torn.	23 con un’apertura nel mezzo come l’apertura di una corazza e un orlo tutto intorno affinché non si potesse lacerare.
24 On the lower hem of the robe, they made pomegranates of violet-purple, red-purple and crimson andfinely woven linen,	24 Tutto intorno all’orlatura inferiore del manto fecero melegrane di porpora viola e rossa, scarlatto e finissimo lino ritorto.
25 and made bells of pure gold, putting the bel s between the pomegranates al round the lower hem ofthe robe:	25 Fecero piccoli campanelli di oro puro e misero i campanelli in mezzo alle melegrane, tutto intorno, sull’orlatura inferiore del manto, in mezzo alle melegrane.
26 alternately, a bel and then a pomegranate, al round the lower hem of the robe of office, as Yahwehhad ordered Moses.	26 Tutto intorno all’orlatura inferiore del manto per officiare si alternavano un campanello e una melagrana, un campanello e una melagrana, come Jahvè aveva ordinato a Mosè.
27 They made the tunics of finely woven linen for Aaron and his sons,	27 Fecero la tunica di bisso — un lavoro di tessitura — per Aronne e i suoi figli;

30 They also made the flower -- the symbol of holy consecration -- of pure gold and on it, like anengraved seal, they engraved, 'Consecrated to Yahweh'.	30 Fecero la lamina di oro puro — il diadema sacro — e scrissero su di essa in scrittura di incisioni da sigillo: «Consacrato a Jahvè»;
31 They put it on a violet-purple cord, to fasten it high up on the turban, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	31 ad essa applicarono un nastro di porpora viola per poterla mettere sulla parte anteriore del turbante, come Jahvè aveva ordinato a Mosè.
32 So all the work for the Dwelling, for the Tent of Meeting, was completed. They had done everythingexactly as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	32 Fu così compiuta tutta la lavorazione della Dimora, della Tenda del convegno. I figli di Israele fecero ogni cosa come Jahvè aveva ordinato a Mosè: fecero tutto così.
33 They then brought Moses the Dwel ing, the Tent and al its accessories: its clasps, frames, crossbars,poles and sockets;	33 Portarono quindi a Mosè la Dimora, la Tenda e tutte le sue suppellettili: gli uncini, le assi, le traverse, i pali e le basi;
34 the cover of rams' skins dyed red, the cover of fine leather and the screening curtain;	34 la copertura di pelli di montone tinte in rosso, la copertura di pelli di takhash e il velo della copertura;

41 the liturgical vestments for officiating in the sanctuary -- the sacred vestments for Aaron the priest,and the vestments for his sons -- for the priestly functions.	41 le vesti prescritte per officiare nel santuario, le vesti sacre per il sacerdote Aronne e le vesti dei suoi figli per l’esercizio del sacerdozio.
42 The Israelites had done al the work exactly as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	42 I figli di Israele eseguirono tutto secondo gli ordini dati da Jahvè a Mosè.
43 Moses inspected all the work: they had indeed done it as Yahweh had ordered; and Moses blessedthem.	43 Mosè considerò tutto il lavoro; constatò che essi lo avevano eseguito come Jahvè aveva ordinato. Quindi Mosè li benedisse.
