1 From the violet-purple, red-purple and crimson materials, they made the liturgical vestments forservice in the sanctuary. They made the sacred vestments for Aaron, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	1 ומן התכלת והארגמן ותולעת השני עשו בגדי שרד לשרת בקדש ויעשו את בגדי הקדש אשר לאהרן כאשר צוה יהוה את משה
2 They made the ephod of gold, of violet-purple, red-purple and crimson materials and finely wovenlinen.	2 ויעש את האפד זהב תכלת וארגמן ותולעת שני ושש משזר
3 They beat gold into thin plates and cut these into threads to work into the violet-purple, red-purple andcrimson materials and the fine linen by needlework.	3 וירקעו את פחי הזהב וקצץ פתילם לעשות בתוך התכלת ובתוך הארגמן ובתוך תולעת השני ובתוך השש מעשה חשב
4 For the ephod they made shoulder-straps which were joined to it at its two edges.	4 כתפת עשו לו חברת על שני קצוותו חבר
5 The waistband on the ephod to hold it in position, was of a piece with it and of the same workmanship:of gold, violet-purple, red-purple and finely woven linen, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	5 וחשב אפדתו אשר עליו ממנו הוא כמעשהו זהב תכלת וארגמן ותולעת שני ושש משזר כאשר צוה יהוה את משה
6 They worked the cornelians, mounted in gold setting, and engraved, like an engraved seal, with thenames of the sons of Israel,	6 ויעשו את אבני השהם מסבת משבצת זהב מפתחת פתוחי חותם על שמות בני ישראל
7 and put the stones on the shoulder-straps of the ephod, to commemorate the sons of Israel, asYahweh had ordered Moses.	7 וישם אתם על כתפת האפד אבני זכרון לבני ישראל כאשר צוה יהוה את משה
8 They made the breastplate of the same embroidered work as the ephod: of gold, violet-purple, red-purple and crimson materials and finely woven linen.	8 ויעש את החשן מעשה חשב כמעשה אפד זהב תכלת וארגמן ותולעת שני ושש משזר
9 It was square and doubled over, a span in length and a span in width.	9 רבוע היה כפול עשו את החשן זרת ארכו וזרת רחבו כפול
10 In it they set four rows of stones: a sard, a topaz and an emerald, for the first row;	10 וימלאו בו ארבעה טורי אבן טור אדם פטדה וברקת הטור האחד
11 for the second row, a garnet, a sapphire and a diamond;	11 והטור השני נפך ספיר ויהלם
12 for the third row, a hyacinth, a ruby and an amethyst;	12 והטור השלישי לשם שבו ואחלמה
13 and for the fourth row, a beryl, a cornelian and a jasper: mounted in gold settings,	13 והטור הרביעי תרשיש שהם וישפה מוסבת משבצות זהב במלאתם
14 the stones corresponding to the names of the sons of Israel, twelve like their names, engraved likeseals, each with the name of one of the twelve tribes.	14 והאבנים על שמת בני ישראל הנה שתים עשרה על שמתם פתוחי חתם איש על שמו לשנים עשר שבט
15 For the breastplate they made chains of pure gold twisted like cords,	15 ויעשו על החשן שרשרת גבלת מעשה עבת זהב טהור
16 and they made two gold rosettes and two gold rings, putting the two rings on the two outside edgesof the breastplate	16 ויעשו שתי משבצת זהב ושתי טבעת זהב ויתנו את שתי הטבעת על שני קצות החשן
17 and fastening the two gold cords to the two rings on the outside edges of the breastplate.	17 ויתנו שתי העבתת הזהב על שתי הטבעת על קצות החשן
18 The other two ends of the cords they fastened to the two rosettes, putting these on the shoulder-straps of the ephod, on the front.	18 ואת שתי קצות שתי העבתת נתנו על שתי המשבצת ויתנם על כתפת האפד אל מול פניו
19 They also made two gold rings and put them on the two outside edges of the breastplate, on theinner side, against the ephod;	19 ויעשו שתי טבעת זהב וישימו על שני קצות החשן על שפתו אשר אל עבר האפד ביתה
20 and they made two more gold rings and put them low down on the front of the two shoulder-straps ofthe ephod, close to the join, above the waistband of the ephod.	20 ויעשו שתי טבעת זהב ויתנם על שתי כתפת האפד מלמטה ממול פניו לעמת מחברתו ממעל לחשב האפד
21 They secured the pectoral by a violet-purple cord passed through its rings and those of the ephod, sothat the pectoral would sit above the waistband and not come apart from the ephod, as Yahweh had orderedMoses.	21 וירכסו את החשן מטבעתיו אל טבעת האפד בפתיל תכלת להית על חשב האפד ולא יזח החשן מעל האפד כאשר צוה יהוה את משה
22 They made the robe of the ephod woven entirely of violet-purple.	22 ויעש את מעיל האפד מעשה ארג כליל תכלת
23 The opening in the centre of the robe was like the neck of a coat of mail; round the opening was aborder, so that it would not get torn.	23 ופי המעיל בתוכו כפי תחרא שפה לפיו סביב לא יקרע
24 On the lower hem of the robe, they made pomegranates of violet-purple, red-purple and crimson andfinely woven linen,	24 ויעשו על שולי המעיל רמוני תכלת וארגמן ותולעת שני משזר
25 and made bells of pure gold, putting the bel s between the pomegranates al round the lower hem ofthe robe:	25 ויעשו פעמני זהב טהור ויתנו את הפעמנים בתוך הרמנים על שולי המעיל סביב בתוך הרמנים
26 alternately, a bel and then a pomegranate, al round the lower hem of the robe of office, as Yahwehhad ordered Moses.	26 פעמן ורמן פעמן ורמן על שולי המעיל סביב לשרת כאשר צוה יהוה את משה
27 They made the tunics of finely woven linen for Aaron and his sons,	27 ויעשו את הכתנת שש מעשה ארג לאהרן ולבניו
28 the turban of fine linen, the head-dresses of fine linen, the breeches of finely woven linen,	28 ואת המצנפת שש ואת פארי המגבעת שש ואת מכנסי הבד שש משזר
29 the waistbands of finely woven linen embroidered with violet-purple, red-purple and crimson, asYahweh had ordered Moses.	29 ואת האבנט שש משזר ותכלת וארגמן ותולעת שני מעשה רקם כאשר צוה יהוה את משה
30 They also made the flower -- the symbol of holy consecration -- of pure gold and on it, like anengraved seal, they engraved, 'Consecrated to Yahweh'.	30 ויעשו את ציץ נזר הקדש זהב טהור ויכתבו עליו מכתב פתוחי חותם קדש ליהוה
31 They put it on a violet-purple cord, to fasten it high up on the turban, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	31 ויתנו עליו פתיל תכלת לתת על המצנפת מלמעלה כאשר צוה יהוה את משה
32 So all the work for the Dwelling, for the Tent of Meeting, was completed. They had done everythingexactly as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	32 ותכל כל עבדת משכן אהל מועד ויעשו בני ישראל ככל אשר צוה יהוה את משה כן עשו
33 They then brought Moses the Dwel ing, the Tent and al its accessories: its clasps, frames, crossbars,poles and sockets;	33 ויביאו את המשכן אל משה את האהל ואת כל כליו קרסיו קרשיו בריחו ועמדיו ואדניו
34 the cover of rams' skins dyed red, the cover of fine leather and the screening curtain;	34 ואת מכסה עורת האילם המאדמים ואת מכסה ערת התחשים ואת פרכת המסך
35 the ark of the Testimony and its shafts, and the mercy-seat;	35 את ארן העדת ואת בדיו ואת הכפרת
36 the table, all its accessories and the loaves of permanent offering;	36 את השלחן את כל כליו ואת לחם הפנים
37 the lamp-stand of pure gold, its lamps -- the array of lamps -- and all its accessories, and the oil forthe light;	37 את המנרה הטהרה את נרתיה נרת המערכה ואת כל כליה ואת שמן המאור
38 the golden altar, the anointing oil, the fragrant incense and the screen for the entrance to the tent;	38 ואת מזבח הזהב ואת שמן המשחה ואת קטרת הסמים ואת מסך פתח האהל
39 the bronze altar and its bronze grating, its shafts and all its accessories; the basin and its stand;	39 את מזבח הנחשת ואת מכבר הנחשת אשר לו את בדיו ואת כל כליו את הכיר ואת כנו
40 the curtaining for the court, its poles, its sockets, and the screen for the gateway to the court, itscords, its pegs and al the accessories for the service of the Dwel ing, for the Tent of Meeting;	40 את קלעי החצר את עמדיה ואת אדניה ואת המסך לשער החצר את מיתריו ויתדתיה ואת כל כלי עבדת המשכן לאהל מועד
41 the liturgical vestments for officiating in the sanctuary -- the sacred vestments for Aaron the priest,and the vestments for his sons -- for the priestly functions.	41 את בגדי השרד לשרת בקדש את בגדי הקדש לאהרן הכהן ואת בגדי בניו לכהן
42 The Israelites had done al the work exactly as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	42 ככל אשר צוה יהוה את משה כן עשו בני ישראל את כל העבדה
43 Moses inspected all the work: they had indeed done it as Yahweh had ordered; and Moses blessedthem.	43 וירא משה את כל המלאכה והנה עשו אתה כאשר צוה יהוה כן עשו ויברך אתם משה
