Nehemiah 10

NEW JERUSALEM	LA SACRA BIBBIA
1 In view of al this we make a firm agreement, in writing. Our princes, our Levites, our priests and therest of the people have put their names to the document under seal.	1 "A causa di tutto ciò noi prendiamo oggi un impegno e lo mettiamo per iscritto. Sul documento sigillato figurano i nostri capi, i nostri leviti, i nostri sacerdoti".
2 On the sealed document were the names of: Nehemiah, son of Hacaliah, and Zedekiah;	2 Sul documento sigillato firmarono Neemia il governatore, figlio di Acalia, e Sedecia,
3 Seraiah, Azariah, Jeremiah,	3 Seraia, Azaria, Geremia,
4 Pashhur, Amariah, Malchijah,	4 Pascur, Amaria, Malchia,
5 Hattush, Shebaniah, Mal uch,	5 Cattus, Sebania, Malluch,
6 Harim, Meremoth, Obadiah,	6 Carim, Meremot, Abdia,
7 Daniel, Ginnethon, Baruch,	7 Daniele, Ghimneton, Baruch,
8 Meshul am, Abijah, Mijamin,	8 Mesullàm, Abia, Miamin,

29 And the rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the gatekeepers, the singers, the temple slavesand all those who had severed relations with the people of the country to adhere to the law of God, as also theirwives, their sons, their daughters, that is, al those who had reached the age of discretion,	29 E il resto del popolo, i sacerdoti, i leviti, i portinai, i cantori, gli oblati e tutti coloro che si sono separati dalle popolazioni locali per seguire la legge di Dio, le loro spose, i figli e le figlie, cioè tutti coloro che sono capaci d'intendere,
30 have joined their esteemed brothers in a solemn oath to follow the law of God given through Moses,servant of God, and to observe and practise all the commandments of Yahweh our Lord, with his rules and hisstatutes.	30 si uniscono ai loro fratelli, i loro prìncipi, e contraggono un patto e un giuramento, di camminare secondo la legge di Dio che è stata data per mezzo di Mosè, servitore di Dio, e di osservare e compiere tutti i comandi del Signore nostro Signore, le sue prescrizioni e le sue leggi:
31 We will not give our daughters in marriage to the peoples of the country, nor allow their daughters tomarry our sons.	31 di non dare le nostre figlie alle popolazioni locali e di non prendere le loro figlie per i nostri figli;
32 If the people of the country bring goods or foodstuff of any kind to sel on the Sabbath day, we wilbuy nothing from them on Sabbath or holy day. In the seventh year, we wil forgo the produce of the soil and theexaction of al debts.	32 di non acquistare nulla in giorno di sabato o in giorno sacro dalle popolazioni locali che portano a vendere in giorno di sabato ogni specie di mercanzia o di derrate; inoltre, ogni sette anni sarà lasciata riposare la terra e condonato ogni debito.
33 We recognise the fol owing obligations: to give one-third of a shekel yearly for the service of theTemple of our God:	33 Ci siamo anche imposti per legge di dare annualmente un terzo di siclo per il servizio della casa del nostro Dio,
34 for the loaves of permanent offering, for the perpetual oblation, for the perpetual burnt offering, forthe sacrifices on Sabbaths, on New Moons and on festivals, for the consecrated gifts, the sin offerings to expiatefor Israel, in short, for the whole work of the Temple of our God;	34 per i pani dell'offerta, per l'oblazione perenne, per l'olocausto perenne dei sabati, dei noviluni, per le feste, per le offerte sacre, per i sacrifici d'espiazione affinché Israele sia perdonato, e per ogni lavoro della casa del nostro Dio.
35 Furthermore, as regards deliveries of wood for burning on the altar of our God as the law prescribes,we have arranged, by drawing lots, how these deliveries are to be made at the Temple of our God by the priests,the Levites and the people by families, at stated times every year.We wil no longer neglect the Temple of ourGod.	35 Noi, sacerdoti, leviti e popolo, abbiamo tirato a sorte riguardo all'offerta del legname da portare ogni anno a tempi fissati, secondo le nostre famiglie, alla casa del nostro Dio, perché bruci sull'altare del Signore nostro Dio, come prescritto nella legge.
36 and further, to bring yearly to the Temple of our God the first-fruits of our soil and the first-fruits of alour orchards,	36 Ci siamo imposti di portare le primizie della nostra terra e le primizie di tutti i frutti d'ogni albero, anno per anno, alla casa del Signore;
37 also the first-born of our sons and of our cattle, as the law prescribes, the first-born of our herds andflocks should be taken to the Temple of our God for the priests officiating in the Temple of our God.	37 e i primogeniti dei nostri figli e del bestiame e i primogeniti delle mandrie e dei greggi ci siamo imposti di presentarli alla casa del nostro Dio, ai sacerdoti di servizio nella casa del nostro Dio, come è prescritto dalla legge.
38 Furthermore, we shall bring the best of our dough, of every kind of fruit, of the new wine and of the oilto the priests, to the storerooms of the Temple of our God, and the tithe on our soil to the Levites -- the Leviteswil themselves col ect the tithes from all the towns of our religion.	38 E la parte migliore delle nostre farine, delle offerte, del frutto di qualsiasi albero, del mosto e dell'olio, noi porteremo ai sacerdoti, nelle camere della casa del nostro Dio; e ai leviti la decima della nostra terra. I leviti preleveranno essi stessi la decima del nostro lavoro in tutte le città.
39 An Aaronite priest wil accompany the Levites when they collect the tithes, and the Levites wil bringa tenth part	39 Un sacerdote, discendente di Aronne, sarà con i leviti quando questi preleveranno le decime. I leviti porteranno la decima della decima alla casa del Dio nostro, nelle stanze della tesoreria.
40 a,b of the tithes to the Temple of our God, into the treasury storerooms; for these rooms are wherethe Israelites and the Levites are to bring the contributions of corn, wine and oil, and where the vessels of thesanctuary are, and the officiating priests, the gatekeepers and the singers.	40 In queste stanze, infatti, i figli d'Israele e i figli di Levi porteranno l'offerta del grano, del mosto e dell'olio. Qui sono gli utensili del santuario e i sacerdoti di servizio, i portinai e i cantori. Noi non abbandoneremo la casa del nostro Dio!
