1 I commend to you Phoebe our sister, who is (also) a minister of the church at Cenchreae,	1 Vi raccomando la nostra sorella Febe, che serve la Chiesa di Chencre:
2 that you may receive her in the Lord in a manner worthy of the holy ones, and help her in whatever she may need from you, for she has been a benefactor to many and to me as well.	2 Affinchè la accogliate nel Signore, come si conviene ai Santi: e la assistiate in qualunque cosa avrà bisogno di voi: imperocché ella pure ha assistito molti, e anche me stesso.
3 Greet Prisca and Aquila, my co-workers in Christ Jesus,	3 Salutate Prisca, e Aquila miei cooperatori in Gesù Cristo:

17 I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who create dissensions and obstacles, in opposition to the teaching that you learned; avoid them.	17 Io poi vi prego, o fratelli, che abbiate gli occhi addosso a quelli, che pongono dissensioni, e inciampi contro la dottrina, che voi avete apparata; e ritiratevi da loro.
18 For such people do not serve our Lord Christ but their own appetites, and by fair and flattering speech they deceive the hearts of the innocent.	18 Imperocché questi tali non servono a Cristo Signor nostro, ma al proprio lor ventre: e con le melate parole, e con l'adulazione seducono i cuori da' semplici.
19 For while your obedience is known to all, so that I rejoice over you, I want you to be wise as to what is good, and simple as to what is evil;	19 Imperocché la vostra ubbidienza è divolgata per ogni dove. Mi rallegro adunque per riguardo a voi. Ma bramo che voi siate sapienti nel bene, semplici quanto al male.
20 then the God of peace will quickly crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.	20 Il Dio poi della pace stritoli Satana sotto de' vostri piedi tostamente. La grazia del Signore nostro Gesù Cristo con voi.
