1 I commend to you Phoebe our sister, who is (also) a minister of the church at Cenchreae,	1 Ich empfehle euch unsere Schwester Phöbe, die Dienerin der Gemeinde von Kenchreä:
2 that you may receive her in the Lord in a manner worthy of the holy ones, and help her in whatever she may need from you, for she has been a benefactor to many and to me as well.	2 Nehmt sie im Namen des Herrn auf, wie es Heilige tun sollen, und steht ihr in jeder Sache bei, in der sie euch braucht; sie selbst hat vielen, darunter auch mir, geholfen.
3 Greet Prisca and Aquila, my co-workers in Christ Jesus,	3 Grüßt Priska und Aquila, meine Mitarbeiter in Christus Jesus,

17 I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who create dissensions and obstacles, in opposition to the teaching that you learned; avoid them.	17 Ich ermahne euch, meine Brüder, auf die Acht zu geben, die im Widerspruch zu der Lehre, die ihr gelernt habt, Spaltung und Verwirrung verursachen: Haltet euch von ihnen fern!
18 For such people do not serve our Lord Christ but their own appetites, and by fair and flattering speech they deceive the hearts of the innocent.	18 Denn diese Leute dienen nicht Christus, unserem Herrn, sondern ihrem Bauch und sie verführen durch ihre schönen und gewandten Reden das Herz der Arglosen.
19 For while your obedience is known to all, so that I rejoice over you, I want you to be wise as to what is good, and simple as to what is evil;	19 Doch euer Gehorsam ist allen bekannt; daher freue ich mich über euch und wünsche nur, dass ihr verständig bleibt, offen für das Gute, unzugänglich für das Böse.
20 then the God of peace will quickly crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.	20 Der Gott des Friedens wird den Satan bald zertreten und unter eure Füße legen. Die Gnade Jesu, unseres Herrn, sei mit euch!
