I commend to you Phoebe our sister, who is (also) a minister of the church at Cenchreae,1 And I commend to you Phebe, our sister, who is in the ministry of the church, that is in Cenchrae:
that you may receive her in the Lord in a manner worthy of the holy ones, and help her in whatever she may need from you, for she has been a benefactor to many and to me as well.2 That you receive her in the Lord as becometh saints; and that you assist her in whatsoever business she shall have need of you. For she also hath assisted many, and myself also.
Greet Prisca and Aquila, my co-workers in Christ Jesus,3 Salute Prisca and Aquila, my helpers in Christ Jesus,
who risked their necks for my life, to whom not only I am grateful but also all the churches of the Gentiles;4 (Who have for my life laid down their own necks: to whom not I only give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles,)
greet also the church at their house. Greet my beloved Epaenetus, who was the firstfruits in Asia for Christ.5 And the church which is in their house. Salute Epenetus, my beloved: who is the firstfruits of Asia in Christ.
Greet Mary, who has worked hard for you.6 Salute Mary, who hath laboured much among you.
Greet Andronicus and Junia, my relatives and my fellow prisoners; they are prominent among the apostles and they were in Christ before me.7 Salute Andronicus and Junias, my kinsmen and fellow prisoners: who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me.
Greet Ampliatus, my beloved in the Lord.8 Salute Ampliatus, most beloved to me in the Lord.
Greet Urbanus, our co-worker in Christ, and my beloved Stachys.9 Salute Urbanus, our helper in Christ Jesus, and Stachys, my beloved.
Greet Apelles, who is approved in Christ. Greet those who belong to the family of Aristobulus.10 Salute Apelles, approved in Christ.
Greet my relative Herodion. Greet those in the Lord who belong to the family of Narcissus.11 Salute them that are of Aristobulus' household. Salute Herodian, my kinsman. Salute them that are of Narcissus' household, who are in the Lord.
Greet those workers in the Lord, Tryphaena and Tryphosa. Greet the beloved Persis, who has worked hard in the Lord.12 Salute Tryphaena and Tryphosa, who labour in the Lord. Salute Persis, the dearly beloved, who hath much laboured in the Lord.
Greet Rufus, chosen in the Lord, and his mother and mine.13 Salute Rufus, elect in the Lord, and his mother and mine.
Greet Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermes, Patrobas, Hermas, and the brothers who are with them.14 Salute Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermas, Patrobas, Hermes, and the brethren that are with them.
Greet Philologus, Julia, Nereus and his sister, and Olympas, and all the holy ones who are with them.15 Salute Philologus and Julia, Nereus and his sister, and Olympias; and all the saints that are with them.
Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the churches of Christ greet you.16 Salute one another with an holy kiss. All the churches of Christ salute you.
I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who create dissensions and obstacles, in opposition to the teaching that you learned; avoid them.17 Now I beseech you, brethren, to mark them who make dissensions and offences contrary to the doctrine which you have learned, and avoid them.
For such people do not serve our Lord Christ but their own appetites, and by fair and flattering speech they deceive the hearts of the innocent.18 For they that are such, serve not Christ our Lord, but their own belly; and by pleasing speeches and good words, seduce the hearts of the innocent.
For while your obedience is known to all, so that I rejoice over you, I want you to be wise as to what is good, and simple as to what is evil;19 For your obedience is published in every place. I rejoice therefore in you. But I would have you to be wise in good, and simple in evil.
then the God of peace will quickly crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.20 And the God of peace crush Satan under your feet speedily. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
Timothy, my co-worker, greets you; so do Lucius and Jason and Sosipater, my relatives.21 Timothy, my fellow labourer, saluteth you, and Lucius, and Jason, and Sosipater, my kinsmen.
I, Tertius, the writer of this letter, greet you in the Lord.22 I Tertius, who wrote this epistle, salute you in the Lord.

but now manifested through the prophetic writings and, according to the command of the eternal God, made known to all nations to bring about the obedience of faith,26 (Which now is made manifest by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the precept of the eternal God, for the obedience of faith,) known among all nations;
to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ be glory forever and ever. Amen.)27 To God the only wise, through Jesus Christ, to whom be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
