KING JAMES BIBLENOVA VULGATA
1 I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me.1 Magistro chori. Secundum Idithun. Asaph. Psalmus.
2 In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted.2 Voce mea ad Dominum clamavi;
voce mea ad Deum, et intendit mihi.
3 I remembered God, and was troubled: I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah.3 In die tribulationis meae Deum exquisivi,
manus meae nocte expansae sunt
et non fatigantur.
Renuit consolari anima mea;
4 Thou holdest mine eyes waking: I am so troubled that I cannot speak.4 memor sum Dei et ingemisco,
exerceor, et deficit spiritus meus.
5 I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.5 Vigiles tenuisti palpebras oculi mei; turbatus sum et non sum locutus.
6 I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search.6 Cogitavi dies antiquos
et annos aeternos in mente habui.
7 Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?7 Meditatus sum nocte cum corde meo
et exercitabar et scobebam spiritum meum.
8 Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his promise fail for evermore?8 Numquid in aeternum proiciet Deus,
aut non apponet, ut complacitior sit adhuc?
9 Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.9 Aut deficiet in finem misericordia sua,
cessabit verbum a generatione in generationem?
10 And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High.10 Aut obliviscetur misereri Deus,
aut continebit in ira sua misericordias suas?
11 I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.11 Et dixi: “ Hoc vulnus meum:
mutatio dexterae Excelsi ”.
12 I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.12 Memor ero operum Domini,
memor ero ab initio mirabilium tuorum.
13 Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?13 Et meditabor in omnibus operibus tuis
et in adinventionibus tuis exercebor.
14 Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people.14 Deus, in sancto via tua;
quis deus magnus sicut Deus noster?
15 Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.15 Tu es Deus, qui facis mirabilia,
notam fecisti in populis virtutem tuam.
16 The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled.16 Redemisti in brachio tuo populum tuum,
filios Iacob et Ioseph.
17 The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: thine arrows also went abroad.17 Viderunt te aquae, Deus,
viderunt te aquae et doluerunt;
etenim commotae sunt abyssi.
18 The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.18 Effuderunt aquas nubila,
vocem dederunt nubes,
etenim sagittae tuae transeunt.
19 Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known.19 Vox tonitrui tui in rota;
illuxerunt coruscationes tuae orbi terrae,
commota est et contremuit terra.
20 Thou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.20 In mari via tua, et semitae tuae in aquis multis;
et vestigia tua non cognoscuntur.
21 Deduxisti sicut oves populum tuum
in manu Moysi et Aaron.
