KING JAMES BIBLE | VULGATA |
---|---|
Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength. | 1 Psalmus cantici, in dedicatione domus David. |
Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. | 2 Exaltabo te, Domine, quoniam suscepisti me, nec delectasti inimicos meos super me. |
The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters. | 3 Domine Deus meus, clamavi ad te, et sanasti me. |
The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty. | 4 Domine, eduxisti ab inferno animam meam ; salvasti me a descendentibus in lacum. |
The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon. | 5 Psallite Domino, sancti ejus ; et confitemini memoriæ sanctitatis ejus. |
He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn. | 6 Quoniam ira in indignatione ejus, et vita in voluntate ejus : ad vesperum demorabitur fletus, et ad matutinum lætitia. |
The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire. | 7 Ego autem dixi in abundantia mea : Non movebor in æternum. |
The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh. | 8 Domine, in voluntate tua præstitisti decori meo virtutem ; avertisti faciem tuam a me, et factus sum conturbatus. |
The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory. | 9 Ad te, Domine, clamabo, et ad Deum meum deprecabor. |
The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever. | 10 Quæ utilitas in sanguine meo, dum descendo in corruptionem ? numquid confitebitur tibi pulvis, aut annuntiabit veritatem tuam ? |
The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace. | 11 Audivit Dominus, et misertus est mei ; Dominus factus est adjutor meus. |
Convertisti planctum meum in gaudium mihi ; conscidisti saccum meum, et circumdedisti me lætitia : | |
ut cantet tibi gloria mea, et non compungar. Domine Deus meus, in æternum confitebor tibi. |
