1 Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.	1 Salmo di Davide DATE al Signore, o figliuoli de’ potenti, Date al Signore gloria e forza.
2 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.	2 Date al Signore la gloria dovuta al suo Nome; Adorate il Signore nel magnifico santuario.
3 The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.	3 La voce del Signore è sopra le acque; L’Iddio di gloria tuona; Il Signore è sopra le grandi acque.
4 The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.	4 La voce del Signore è con potenza; La voce del Signore è con magnificenza.
5 The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.	5 La voce del Signore rompe i cedri; E il Signore spezza i cedri del Libano;
6 He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.	6 E li fa saltellar come un vitello; Il Libano stesso, e Sirion, come il figlio d’un liocorno.
7 The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire.	7 La voce del Signore sparge, a guisa di schegge, fiamme di fuoco.
8 The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.	8 La voce del Signore fa tremare il deserto; Il Signore fa tremare il deserto di Cades.
9 The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.	9 La voce del Signore fa partorir le cerve, E sfronda le selve; Ma intanto ciascuna predica la sua gloria nel suo Tempio.
10 The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever.	10 Il Signore nel diluvio siede; Anzi il Signore siede re in eterno.
11 The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.	11 Il Signore darà forza al suo popolo; Il Signore benedirà il suo popolo in pace
