1 Cântico das peregrinações. Na hora da tribulação, clamei ao Senhor e ele me atendeu.	1 In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me.
2 Senhor, livrai minha alma dos lábios mentirosos e da língua pérfida.	2 Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.
3 Que ganharás, qual será teu proveito, ó língua pérfida?	3 What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue?
4 Flechas agudas de guerreiro, carvões ardentes de giesta.	4 Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.
5 Ai de mim por habitar em Mesec e viver em meio às tendas de Cedar!	5 Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!
6 Por muito tempo minha alma tem vivido com aqueles que detestam a paz.	6 My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.
7 Só quero a paz, mas quando dela lhes falo, eles se dispõem para a guerra.	7 I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.
