1 لماذا اذ لم تختبئ الازمنة من القدير لا يرى عارفوه يومه.	1 Why does Shaddai not make known the times he has fixed; why do his faithful never see his Days?
2 ينقلون التخوم. يغتصبون قطيعا ويرعونه.	2 The wicked move boundary-marks away, they carry off flock and shepherd.
3 يستاقون حمار اليتامى ويرتهنون ثور الارملة.	3 They drive away the orphan's donkey, as security, they seize the widow's ox.
4 يصدّون الفقراء عن الطريق. مساكين الارض يختبئون جميعا.	4 The needy have to keep out of the way, poor country people have to keep out of sight.
5 ها هم كالفراء في القفر يخرجون الى عملهم يبكرون للطعام. البادية لهم خبز لاولادهم.	5 Like wild desert donkeys, they go out to work, searching from dawn for food, and at evening forsomething on which to feed their children.
6 في الحقل يحصدون علفهم ويعللون كرم الشرير.	6 They go harvesting in the field of some scoundrel, they go pilfering in the vineyards of the wicked.
7 يبيتون عراة بلا لبس وليس لهم كسوة في البرد.	7 They spend the night naked, lacking clothes, with no covering against the cold.
8 يبتلّون من مطر الجبال ولعدم الملجإ يعتنقون الصخر	8 Mountain rainstorms cut them through, unsheltered, they hug the rocks.
9 يخطفون اليتيم عن الثدي ومن المساكين يرتهنون.	9 The orphan child is torn from the breast, the child of the poor is exacted as security.
10 عراة يذهبون بلا لبس وجائعين يحملون حزما.	10 They go about naked, lacking clothes, and starving while they carry the sheaves.
11 يعصرون الزيت داخل اسوارهم. يدوسون المعاصر ويعطشون.	11 Two little wal s, their shelter at high noon; parched with thirst, they have to tread the winepress.
12 من الوجع اناس يئنون ونفس الجرحى تستغيث والله لا ينتبه الى الظلم	12 From the towns come the groans of the dying and the gasp of the wounded crying for help. Yet Godremains deaf to prayer!
13 اولئك يكونون بين المتمردين على النور لا يعرفون طرقه ولا يلبثون في سبله.	13 In contrast, there are those who reject the light: who know nothing of its ways and who do notfrequent its paths.
14 مع النور يقوم القاتل يقتل المسكين والفقير وفي الليل يكون كاللص.	14 When all is dark the murderer leaves his bed to kil the poor and needy. During the night the thiefgoes on the prowl,
15 وعين الزاني تلاحظ العشاء. يقول لا تراقبني عين. فيجعل سترا على وجهه.	15 The eye of the adulterer watches for twilight, 'No one wil see me,' he mutters as he masks his face.Inthe daytime they keep out of sight, these people who do not want to know the light.
16 ينقبون البيوت في الظلام. في النهار يغلقون على انفسهم. لا يعرفون النور.	16 breaking into houses while the darkness lasts.
17 لانه سواء عليهم الصباح وظل الموت. لانهم يعلمون اهوال ظل الموت.	17 For al of them, morning is a time of shadow dark as death, since that is when they know what fear is.
18 خفيف هو على وجه المياه. ملعون نصيبهم في الارض. لا يتوجه الى طريق الكروم.	18
19 القحط والقيظ يذهبان بمياه الثلج. كذا الهاوية بالذين اخطأوا.	19
20 تنساه الرحم يستحليه الدود. لا يذكر بعد وينكسر الاثيم كشجرة.	20
21 يسيء الى العاقر التي لم تلد ولا يحسن الى الارملة.	21
22 يمسك الاعزاء بقوته. يقوم فلا يأمن احد بحياته.	22
23 يعطيه طمأنينة فيتوكل ولكن عيناه على طرقهم.	23
24 يترفعون قليلا ثم لا يكونون ويحطون. كالكل يجمعون وكرأس السنبلة يقطعون.	24
25 وان لم يكن كذا فمن يكذبني ويجعل كلامي لا شيئا	25 Is this not so? Who can prove me a liar or show that my words have no substance?
