LA SACRA BIBBIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Il Signore disse a Mosè:	1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,
2 "Ordina ai figli d'Israele che prendano per me un'offerta: da ogni uomo, che sarà spinto dal proprio cuore, prenderete un'offerta per me.	2 'Tel the Israelites to set aside a contribution for me; you wil accept a contribution from everyonewhose heart prompts him to give it.
3 Questa è l'offerta che prenderete da loro: oro, argento e bronzo;	3 And this is what you wil accept from them: gold, silver and bronze;
4 porpora viola e porpora rossa, scarlatto, bisso e tessuto di peli di capra;	4 materials dyed violet-purple, red-purple and crimson, fine linen, goats' hair;
5 pelli di montone tinte di rosso, pelli conciate e legni d'acacia;	5 rams' skins dyed red, fine leather, acacia wood;
6 olio per illuminazione, balsami per l'olio d'unzione e per l'incenso aromatico;	6 oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil and fragrant incense;
7 pietre d'onice e pietre da incastonare nell'efod e nel pettorale.	7 cornelian and other stones to be set in the ephod and breastplate.
8 Mi faranno un santuario e abiterò in mezzo a loro.	8 Make me a sanctuary so that I can reside among them.

13 Farai delle stanghe di legno d'acacia e le ricoprirai d'oro;	13 You wil also make shafts of acacia wood and overlay them with gold
14 introdurrai le stanghe negli anelli ai lati dell'arca per trasportare l'arca.	14 and pass the shafts through the rings on the sides of the ark, by which to carry it.
15 Le stanghe saranno negli anelli dell'arca: non vi saranno tolte.	15 The shafts wil stay in the rings of the ark and not be withdrawn.
16 Porrai nell'arca la testimonianza che io ti darò.	16 Inside the ark you wil put the Testimony which I am about to give you.
17 Farai un propiziatorio d'oro puro, lungo due cubiti e mezzo e largo un cubito e mezzo.	17 'You wil also make a mercy-seat of pure gold, two and a half cubits long and one and a half cubitswide,
18 Poi farai due cherubini d'oro massiccio: li farai alle due estremità del propiziatorio.	18 and you wil model two great winged creatures of beaten gold, you wil make them at the two ends ofthe mercy-seat.
19 Farai un cherubino da una parte e l'altro cherubino dall'altra parte del propiziatorio: farete i cherubini sulle sue due estremità.	19 Model one of the winged creatures at one end and the other winged creature at the other end; youwil model the winged creatures of a piece with the mercy-seat at either end.
20 I cherubini stenderanno le ali verso l'alto, proteggendo con le loro ali il propiziatorio: saranno rivolti l'uno verso l'altro e le facce dei cherubini saranno verso il propiziatorio.	20 The winged creatures must have their wings spread upwards, protecting the mercy-seat with theirwings and facing each other, their faces being towards the mercy-seat.
21 Porrai il propiziatorio sopra l'arca e nell'arca porrai la testimonianza che ti darò.	21 You wil put the mercy-seat on the top of the ark, and inside the ark you will put the Testimony which Iam about to give you.

23 Farai una tavola in legno d'acacia, lunga due cubiti, larga un cubito, alta un cubito e mezzo.	23 'You must also make a table of acacia wood, two cubits long, one cubit wide and one and a halfcubits high.
24 La ricoprirai d'oro puro e le farai intorno un bordo d'oro.	24 You wil overlay it with pure gold, and make a gold moulding al round it.
25 Le farai intorno dei traversini di un palmo e farai un bordo d'oro intorno ai suoi traversini.	25 You wil fit it with struts of a hand's breadth and make a gold moulding round the struts.

27 Accanto ai traversini saranno gli anelli per contenere le stanghe per sollevare la tavola.	27 The rings must lie close to the struts to hold the shafts for carrying the table.
28 Farai le stanghe in legno d'acacia e le ricoprirai d'oro: con quelle si solleverà la tavola.	28 You must make the shafts of acacia wood and overlay them with gold. The table must be carried bythese.
29 Farai i suoi piatti, le sue coppe, le sue anfore e le sue tazze con le quali si fanno le libazioni: li farai d'oro puro.	29 You must make dishes, cups, jars and libation bowls for it; you must make these of pure gold,
30 Porrai sulla tavola pane di presentazione, davanti a me, in continuazione. Il candelabro.	30 and on the table, in my presence, you wil always put the loaves of permanent offering.
31 Farai un candelabro d'oro puro: farai d'oro massiccio il candelabro con il suo tronco e i suoi rami; avrà i suoi calici, le sue corolle e i suoi fiori.	31 'You wil also make a lamp-stand of pure gold; the lamp-stand must be of beaten gold, base andstem. Its cups, calyxes and petals, must be of a piece with it.
32 Sei rami usciranno dai suoi lati: tre rami del candelabro da un lato e tre rami del candelabro dal secondo lato.	32 Six branches must spring from its sides: three of the lamp-stand's branches from one side, three ofthe lamp-stand's branches from the other.
33 Tre calici in forma di mandorlo su un ramo, con corolla e fiore, e tre calici in forma di mandorlo sull'altro ramo, con corolla e fiore. Così per i sei rami che escono dal candelabro.	33 The first branch must carry three cups shaped like almond blossoms, each with its calyx and petals;the second branch, too, must carry three cups shaped like almond blossoms, each with its calyx and bud, andsimilarly for all six branches springing from the lamp-stand.
34 Il candelabro avrà nel tronco quattro calici in forma di mandorlo, con le sue corolle e i suoi fiori:	34 The lamp-stand itself must carry four cups shaped like almond blossoms, each with its calyx and bud:
35 una corolla sotto i primi due rami uscenti da esso, una corolla sotto gli altri due rami uscenti da esso e una corolla sotto gli ultimi due rami uscenti da esso: così per i sei rami che escono dal candelabro.	35 one calyx under the first two branches springing from the lamp-stand, one calyx under the next pairof branches and one calyx under the last pair of branches -- thus for al six branches springing from the lamp-stand.
36 Le sue corolle e i suoi rami formeranno un tutt'uno massiccio d'oro puro.	36 The calyxes and the branches wil be of a piece with the lamp-stand, and the whole made from asingle piece of pure gold, beaten out.
37 Farai le sue sette lampade: si porranno sopra di esso, in modo da illuminare lo spazio davanti ad esso.	37 You wil also make seven lamps for it and mount the lamps in such a way that they light up the spacein front of it.
38 I suoi smoccolatoi e i suoi portacenere saranno d'oro puro.	38 The snuffers and trays must be of pure gold.
39 Si farà con un talento d'oro puro, con tutti quegli oggetti.	39 You wil use a talent of pure gold for the lamp-stand and al its accessories;
40 Guarda e fa' secondo il loro progetto che hai osservato sul monte.	40 and see that you work to the design which was shown you on the mountain.'
