1 Dolgozni kezdtek tehát Bezeleél, Oliáb és mindazok a bölcs férfiak, akiknek az Úr bölcsességet és értelmet adott, hogy mesterien meg tudják csinálni, ami a szentély szolgálatára szükséges, és amit az Úr parancsolt.	1 "Bezalel, therefore, will set to work with Oholiab and with all the experts whom the LORD has endowed with skill and understanding in knowing how to execute all the work for the service of the sanctuary, just as the LORD has commanded."
2 Mózes ugyanis meghívta őket és mindazokat a hozzáértő férfiakat, akiknek az Úr bölcsességet adott, és akik önként ajánlkoztak a munka elvégzésére.	2 Moses then called Bezalel and Oholiab and all the other experts whom the LORD had endowed with skill, men whose hearts moved them to come and take part in the work.
3 Átadta nekik Izrael fiainak minden adományát. Ezek már javában szorgoskodtak a munkában, amikor a nép még minden reggel hozott önkéntes adományokat.	3 They received from Moses all the contributions which the Israelites had brought for establishing the service of the sanctuary. Still, morning after morning the people continued to bring their voluntary offerings to Moses.
4 Ez arra indította a mestereket, hogy menjenek el,	4 Thereupon the experts who were executing the various kinds of work for the sanctuary, all left the work they were doing,
5 és mondják meg Mózesnek: »Többet hord össze a nép, mint amennyi szükséges!«	5 and told Moses, "The people are bringing much more than is needed to carry out the work which the LORD has commanded us to do."
6 Erre Mózes megparancsolta, hogy hirdessék ki a hírnökök: »Se férfi, se asszony ne hozzon többé semmit a szentély készítéséhez!« Így aztán nem hoztak több ajándékot,	6 Moses, therefore, ordered a proclamation to be made throughout the camp: "Let neither man nor woman make any more contributions for the sanctuary." So the people stopped bringing their offerings;
7 mivel elég volt az, amit hoztak, sőt már sok is.	7 there was already enough at hand, in fact, more than enough, to complete the work to be done.
8 Mindazok, akiknek a szíve bölcs volt, készítettek tehát a hajlék berendezéséhez tíz szőnyeget, sodrott lenből, kék, bíbor és kétszer festett karmazsin színű fonalból, tarka mintákkal, műszövő munkával.	8 The various experts who were executing the work, made the Dwelling with its ten sheets woven of fine linen twined, having cherubim embroidered on them with violet, purple and scarlet yarn.
9 Huszonnyolc könyöknyi volt egynek-egynek a hossza, négy a szélessége; mindegyik szőnyegnek azonos volt a mérete.	9 The length of each sheet was twenty-eight cubits, and the width four cubits; all the sheets were of the same size.
10 Aztán összekapcsolta az egyik öt szőnyeget, egyiket a másikhoz, és összekapcsolta a másik ötöt is.	10 Five of the sheets were sewed together, edge to edge; and the same for the other five.
11 Ezután kék színű hurkokat erősítettek mindkét oldalra: az egyik szőnyeg szélére is, s ugyanúgy a másik szőnyeg szélére is,	11 Loops of violet yarn were made along the edge of the end sheet in the first set, and the same along the edge of the end sheet in the second set.
12 úgy hogy a hurkok egymással szembe kerüljenek, és egymásba lehessen kapcsolni őket.	12 Fifty loops were thus put on one inner sheet, and fifty loops on the inner sheet in the other set, with the loops directly opposite each other.
13 Öntött ötven aranykarikát is, hogy azok összekapcsolják a szőnyegek hurkait, és a hajlék egybefüggő legyen.	13 Then fifty clasps of gold were made, with which the sheets were joined so that the Dwelling formed one whole.
14 Készített ezenkívül tizenegy kecskeszőr sátorlapot is a hajlék tetejének befedésére.	14 Sheets of goat hair were also woven as a tent over the Dwelling. Eleven such sheets were made.
15 Harminc könyök volt egy-egy sátorlap hossza, négy könyök a szélessége; egyenlő méretű volt valamennyi.	15 The length of each sheet was thirty cubits and the width four cubits; all eleven sheets were the same size.
16 Ötöt közülük egybefoglalt külön, és hat másikat is külön.	16 Five of these sheets were sewed edge to edge into one set; and the other six sheets into another set.
17 Aztán készített ötven hurkot az egyik sátorlap szélére, és ötven hurkot a másik sátorlap szélére, hogy össze lehessen kapcsolni őket egymással,	17 Fifty loops were made along the edge of the end sheet in one set, and fifty loops along the edge of the corresponding sheet in the other set.
18 valamint ötven rézkapcsot, hogy össze lehessen kapcsolni a fedelet, és egy sátorlap legyen az egész.	18 Fifty bronze clasps were made with which the tent was joined so that it formed one whole.
19 Takarót is készített a sátorra, vörösre festett kosbőrből, fölé pedig egy másik takarót, halbőrből.	19 A covering for the tent was made of rams' skins dyed red, and above that, a covering of tahash skins.
20 Elkészítette a deszkákat is a hajlékhoz akácfából, úgy, hogy fel lehessen állítani őket.	20 Boards of acacia wood were made as walls for the Dwelling.
21 Tíz könyök volt egy-egy deszka hossza, másfél könyök volt a szélessége.	21 The length of each board was ten cubits, and the width one and a half cubits.
22 Két-két ereszték volt mindegyik deszkán, hogy össze lehessen fogni őket egymással. Így készítette el a hajlék valamennyi deszkáját.	22 Each board had two arms, fastening them in line. In this way all the boards of the Dwelling were made.
23 Húsz közülük a déli oldalon, a dél felől eső szárnyon volt,	23 They were set up as follows: twenty boards on the south side,
24 negyven ezüsttalppal. Két-két talpat tettek egy-egy deszka alá, egyet-egyet mind a két sarkára, oda, ahol az oldalt levő eresztékek sarkokban végződtek.	24 with forty silver pedestals under the twenty boards, so that there were two pedestals under each board, at its two arms;
25 A hajléknak arra az oldalára, amely északra néz, szintén húsz deszkát helyezett,	25 twenty boards on the other side of the Dwelling, the north side,
26 negyven ezüsttalppal, két-két talpat egy-egy deszkához.	26 with their forty silver pedestals, two under each board;
27 Nyugat felé pedig, vagyis a hajléknak arra az oldalára, amely a tenger felé néz, hat deszkát helyezett,	27 six boards at the rear of the Dwelling, to the west;
28 két másikat pedig a hajlék mindegyik hátsó sarkára.	28 and two boards at the corners in the rear of the Dwelling.
29 Az utóbbiak lentről a tetejükig egybe voltak fogva, és egy foglalat tartotta össze őket. Így tettek mindkét oldal szegletén,	29 These were double at the bottom, and likewise double at the top, to the first ring. That is how both boards in the corners were made.

31 Készített ezenkívül reteszrudakat is akácfából: ötöt a hajlék egyik oldalán levő deszkák összefogására,	31 Bars of acacia wood were also made, five for the boards on one side of the Dwelling,
32 másik ötöt a másik oldal deszkáinak összefogására. Ezeken kívül másik öt reteszrudat a hajlék nyugati, a tenger felé eső oldalára.	32 five for those on the other side, and five for those at the rear, to the west.
