1 Di Salomone. O Dio, da' al re il tuo statuto, al figlio del re la tua giustizia.	1 A Psalm of Solomon. Give the king thy justice, O God, and thy righteousness to the royal son!
2 Regga il tuo popolo con equità, i tuoi poveri con rettitudine.	2 May he judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with justice!
3 I monti portino pace al popolo, giustizia le colline.	3 Let the mountains bear prosperity for the people, and the hills, in righteousness!
4 Renda giustizia ai più miseri del popolo, porti salvezza ai figli dei poveri e umiliazione ai loro oppressori.	4 May he defend the cause of the poor of the people, give deliverance to the needy, and crush the oppressor!
5 Durino i suoi giorni come il sole, come la luna, di generazione in generazione.	5 May he live while the sun endures, and as long as the moon, throughout all generations!
6 Discenda come pioggia sull'erba, come scroscio che irriga la terra.	6 May he be like rain that falls on the mown grass, like showers that water the earth!
7 Fiorisca nei suoi giorni la giustizia e abbondanza di pace fino a che si estingua la luna.	7 In his days may righteousness flourish, and peace abound, till the moon be no more!
8 E si estenda il suo dominio da mare a mare, dal fiume sino ai confini della terra.	8 May he have dominion from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth!
9 S'incurvino davanti a lui le fiere del deserto e lambiscano la polvere i suoi nemici.	9 May his foes bow down before him, and his enemies lick the dust!
10 Il re di Tarsis e le isole offrano i loro doni; i re dell'Arabia e di Seba portino i loro tributi.	10 May the kings of Tarshish and of the isles render him tribute, may the kings of Sheba and Seba bring gifts!
11 Si prostrino davanti a lui tutti i sovrani, lui servano tutte le nazioni.	11 May all kings fall down before him, all nations serve him!
12 Sì, egli libererà il povero che grida aiuto, il misero che è senza soccorso.	12 For he delivers the needy when he calls, the poor and him who has no helper.
13 Avrà pietà del debole e del povero e porrà in salvo la vita dei miseri:	13 He has pity on the weak and the needy, and saves the lives of the needy.
14 dall'oppressione e dalla violenza egli riscatterà la loro anima, ché prezioso sarà ai suoi occhi il loro sangue.	14 From oppression and violence he redeems their life; and precious is their blood in his sight.
15 Viva, e riceva oro di Arabia, di continuo per lui salga la preghiera, ogni giorno la benedizione per lui.	15 Long may he live, may gold of Sheba be given to him! May prayer be made for him continually, and blessings invoked for him all the day!
16 Vi sia abbondanza di frumento sulla terra, ondeggi sulle cime dei monti; fiorisca il suo frutto come il Libano e si raccolga come erba dei prati.	16 May there be abundance of grain in the land; on the tops of the mountains may it wave; may its fruit be like Lebanon; and may men blossom forth from the cities like the grass of the field!
17 Sia il suo nome per sempre, davanti al sole permanga il suo nome. E siano benedette in lui tutte le stirpi della terra, e tutte le nazioni lo proclamino beato.	17 May his name endure for ever, his fame continue as long as the sun! May men bless themselves by him, all nations call him blessed!
18 Benedetto sia il Signore, Dio d'Israele, colui che solo opera prodigi.	18 Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, who alone does wondrous things.
19 Benedetto sia il nome della sua gloria in eterno. Della sua gloria sia piena tutta la terra. Amen! Amen!	19 Blessed be his glorious name for ever; may his glory fill the whole earth! Amen and Amen!
