Michea 3

BIBBIA CEI 1974	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Io dissi: "Ascoltate, capi di Giacobbe, voi governanti della casa d'Israele: Non spetta forse a voi conoscere la giustizia?	1 Then I said, 'Kindly listen, you leaders of the House of Jacob, you princes of the House of Israel. Surelyyou are the ones who ought to know what is right,
2 Nemici del bene e amanti del male, voi strappate loro la pelle di dosso e la carne dalle ossa".	2 and yet you hate what is good and love what is evil, skinning people alive, pul ing the flesh off theirbones,
3 Divorano la carne del mio popolo e gli strappano la pelle di dosso, ne rompono le ossa e lo fanno a pezzi come carne in una pentola, come lesso in una caldaia.	3 eating my people's flesh, stripping off their skin, breaking up their bones, chopping them up smal likeflesh for the pot, like meat in the stew-pan?'
4 Allora grideranno al Signore, ma egli non risponderà; nasconderà loro la faccia, in quel tempo, perché hanno compiuto cattive azioni.	4 Then they wil cal to Yahweh, but he wil not answer them. When the time comes he will hide his facefrom them because of the crimes they have committed.
5 Così dice il Signore contro i profeti che fanno traviare il mio popolo, che annunziano la pace se hanno qualcosa tra i denti da mordere, ma a chi non mette loro niente in bocca dichiarano la guerra.	5 Yahweh says this against the prophets who lead my people astray: So long as they have something toeat they cry 'Peace'. But on anyone who puts nothing into their mouths they declare war.
6 Quindi per voi sarà notte invece di visioni, tenebre per voi invece di responsi. Il sole tramonterà su questi profeti e oscuro si farà il giorno su di essi.	6 And so, for you, night wil be without vision and for you the darkness without divination. The sun wil setfor the prophets, the daylight will go black above them.
7 I veggenti saranno ricoperti di vergogna e gli indovini arrossiranno; si copriranno tutti il labbro, perché non hanno risposta da Dio.	7 Then the seers wil be covered with shame, the diviners with confusion; they wil al put their hands overtheir mouths because there is no answer from God.
8 Mentre io son pieno di forza con lo spirito del Signore, di giustizia e di coraggio, per annunziare a Giacobbe le sue colpe, a Israele il suo peccato.	8 Not so with me, I am ful of strength (ful of Yahweh's spirit), of the sense of right, of energy to accuseJacob of his crime and Israel of his sin.
9 Udite questo, dunque, capi della casa di Giacobbe,governanti della casa d'Israele, che aborrite la giustizia e storcete quanto è retto,	9 Kindly listen to this, you leaders of the House of Jacob, you princes of the House of Israel, who detestjustice, wresting it from its honest course,
10 che costruite Sion sul sangue e Gerusalemme con il sopruso;	10 who build Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity!
11 i suoi capi giudicano in vista dei regali, i suoi sacerdoti insegnano per lucro, i suoi profeti danno oracoli per denaro. Osano appoggiarsi al Signore dicendo: "Non è forse il Signore in mezzo a noi? Non ci coglierà alcun male".	11 Her leaders give verdicts for presents, her priests take a fee for their rulings, her prophets divine formoney and yet they rely on Yahweh! 'Isn't Yahweh among us?' they say, 'No disaster is going to overtake us.'
12 Perciò, per causa vostra, Sion sarà arata come un campo e Gerusalemme diverrà un mucchio di rovine, il monte del tempio un'altura selvosa.	12 That is why, thanks to you, Zion will become ploughland, Jerusalem a heap of rubble and the TempleMount a wooded height.
