BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Del maestro de coro. De los hijos de Coré. Para oboes. Cántico.	1 [For the choirmaster Of the sons of Korah For oboe Song] God is both refuge and strength for us, ahelp always ready in trouble;
2 Dios es para nosotros refugio y fortaleza, un socorro en la angustia siempre a punto.	2 so we shall not be afraid though the earth be in turmoil, though mountains tumble into the depths ofthe sea,
3 Por eso no tememos si se altera la tierra, si los montes se conmueven en el fondo de los mares,	3 and its waters roar and seethe, and the mountains totter as it heaves. (Yahweh Sabaoth is with us, ourcitadel, the God of Jacob.)Pause
4 aunque sus aguas bramen y borboten, y los montes retiemblen a su ímpetu. (¡Con nosotros Yahveh Sebaot, baluarte para nosotros, el Dios de Jacob!) Pausa.	4 There is a river whose streams bring joy to God's city, it sanctifies the dwel ing of the Most High.
5 ¡Un río! Sus brazos recrean la ciudad de Dios, santificando las moradas del Altísimo.	5 God is in the city, it cannot fal ; at break of day God comes to its rescue.
6 Dios está en medio de ella, no será conmovida, Dios la socorre al llegar la mañana.	6 Nations are in uproar, kingdoms are tumbling, when he raises his voice the earth crumbles away.
7 Braman las naciones, se tambalean los reinos, lanza él su voz, la tierra se derrite.	7 Yahweh Sabaoth is with us, our citadel, the God of Jacob. Pause
8 ¡Con nosotros Yahveh Sebaot, baluarte para nosotros, el Dios de Jacob! Pausa.	8 Come, consider the wonders of Yahweh, the astounding deeds he has done on the earth;
9 Venid a contemplar los prodigios de Yahveh, el que llena la tierra de estupores.	9 he puts an end to wars over the whole wide world, he breaks the bow, he snaps the spear, shields heburns in the fire.
10 Hace cesar las guerras hasta el extremo de la tierra; quiebra el arco, parte en dos la lanza, y prende fuego a los escudos.	10 'Be stil and acknowledge that I am God, supreme over nations, supreme over the world.'
11 «¡Basta ya; sabed que yo soy Dios, excelso sobre las naciones, sobre la tierra excelso!»	11 Yahweh Sabaoth is with us, our citadel, the God of Jacob.Pause
12 ¡Con nosotros Yahveh Sebaot, baluarte para nosotros, el Dios de Jacob! Pausa.
