1 Pour la fin, pour ceux qui seront changés, Psaume de David.	1 Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul.
2 Sauvez-moi, ô Dieu, * car les eaux sont entrées jusqu'à mon âme.	2 I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.
3 Je suis enfoncé dans une boue profonde, * où il n'y a pas de consistance. Je suis descendu au fond de la mer, * et la tempête m'a submergé.	3 I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.
4 Je me suis fatigué à crier, ma gorge en a été enrouée; * mes yeux se sont épuisés, tandis que j'attends mon Dieu.	4 They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.
5 Ils sont devenus plus nombreux que les cheveux de ma tête, * ceux qui me haïssent sans cause. Ils sont devenus forts, mes ennemis qui me persécutent injustement; * j'ai dû payer ce que je n'avais pas pris.	5 O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee.
6 O Dieu, Vous connaissez ma folie, * et mes péchés ne Vous sont point cachés.	6 Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel.
7 Que ceux qui espèrent en Vous ne rougissent pas à cause de moi, Seigneur, * Seigneur des armées. Qu'ils ne soient pas confondus à mon sujet, * ceux qui Vous cherchent, Dieu d'Israël.	7 Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face.
8 Car c'est à cause de Vous que j'ai souffert l'opprobre, * et que la confusion a couvert mon visage.	8 I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's children.
9 Je suis devenu un étranger pour mes frères, * et un inconnu pour les fils de ma mère.	9 For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.
10 Car le zèle de Votre maison m'a dévoré, * et les outrages de ceux qui Vous insultaient sont tombés sur moi.	10 When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach.
11 J'ai affligé mon âme par le jeûne, * et l'on m'en a fait un sujet d'opprobre.	11 I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them.
12 J'ai pris pour vêtement un cilice, * et je suis devenu leur fable.	12 They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards.
13 Ceux qui étaient assis à la porte parlaient contre moi, * et ceux qui buvaient du vin me raillaient par leurs chansons.	13 But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.
14 Mais moi je Vous adresse, Seigneur, ma prière. * Voici le temps favorable, ô Dieu. Selon la grandeur de Votre miséricorde exaucez-moi, * selon la vérité de Vos promesses de salut.	14 Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.
15 Retirez-moi de la boue, afin que je n'y enfonce pas; * délivrez-moi de ceux qui me haïssent et des eaux profondes.	15 Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.
16 Que les flots en fureur ne me submergent point; que l'abîme ne m'engloutisse pas, * et que le puits ne ferme pas sa bouche sur moi.	16 Hear me, O LORD; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.
17 Exaucez-moi, Seigneur, car Votre miséricorde est toute suave; * regardez- moi selon l'abondance de Vos bontés.	17 And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily.
18 Et ne détournez pas Votre visage de Votre serviteur; * parce que je suis dans l'angoisse, exaucez-moi promptement.	18 Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine enemies.
19 Soyez attentif sur mon âme, et délivrez-la * à cause de mes ennemis.	19 Thou hast known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonour: mine adversaries are all before thee.
20 Vous connaissez mon opprobre, et ma confusion, * et ma honte.	20 Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.
21 Tous ceux qui me persécutent sont devant Vous; * mon coeur s'attend à l'insulte et à la misère. Et j'ai attendu que quelqu'un s'attristât avec moi, mais nul ne l'a fait; * et que quelqu'un me consolât, mais je n'ai trouvé personne.	21 They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
22 Et ils m'ont donné du fiel pour nourriture, * et dans ma soif ils m'ont abreuvé de vinaigre.	22 Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.
23 Que leur table soit devant eux comme un filet, * un juste châtiment et une pierre de scandale.	23 Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake.
24 Que leurs yeux soient obscurcis, pour qu'ils cessent de voir, * et courbez à jamais leur dos.	24 Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them.
25 Déversez sur eux Votre colère, * et que la fureur de Votre courroux les saisisse.	25 Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents.
26 Que leur demeure devienne déserte, * et qu'il n'y ait personne qui habite dans leurs tentes.	26 For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded.
27 Parce qu'ils ont persécuté celui que Vous avez frappé, * et qu'ils ont ajouté à la douleur de mes blessures.	27 Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness.
28 Ajoutez l'iniquité à leur iniquité, * et qu'ils n'entrent pas dans Votre justice.	28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.
29 Qu'ils soient effacés du livre des vivants, * et qu'ils ne soient point inscrits avec les justes.	29 But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.
30 Pour moi, je suis pauvre et dans la douleur; * Votre salut, ô Dieu, m'a relevé.	30 I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.
31 Je louerai le Nom de Dieu par des cantiques, * et je le glorifierai par des louanges;	31 This also shall please the LORD better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs.
32 et ce sera plus agréable à Dieu que le jeune veau, * à qui poussent les cornes et les ongles.	32 The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God.
33 Que les pauvres le voient et se réjouissent. * Cherchez Dieu, et votre âme vivra;	33 For the LORD heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners.
34 car le Seigneur a exaucé les pauvres, * et Il n'a pas méprisé Ses captifs.	34 Let the heaven and earth praise him, the seas, and everything that moveth therein.
35 Que les cieux et la terre Le louent; * la mer, et tout ce qui s'y meut.	35 For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah: that they may dwell there, and have it in possession.
36 Car Dieu sauvera Sion, * et les villes de Juda seront bâties. Ils y habiteront, * et ils l'acquerront en héritage.	36 The seed also of his servants shall inherit it: and they that love his name shall dwell therein.
37 Et la race de Ses serviteurs la possédera, * et ceux qui aiment Son Nom y habiteront.
