1 Corintios 6

1 Cuando alguno de vosotros tiene un pleito con otro, ¿se atreve a llevar la causa ante los injustos, y no ante los santos?	1 How is it that anyone of you, having a dispute against another, would dare to be judged before the iniquitous, and not before the saints?
2 ¿No sabéis que los santos han de juzgar al mundo? Y si vosotros vais a juzgar al mundo, ¿no sois acaso dignos de juzgar esas naderías?	2 Or do you not know that the saints from this age shall judge it? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you unworthy, then, to judge even the smallest matters?
3 ¿No sabéis que hemos de juzgar a los ángeles? Y ¡cómo no las cosas de esta vida!	3 Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more the things of this age?
4 Y cuando tenéis pleitos de este género ¡tomáis como jueces a los que la Iglesia tiene en nada!	4 Therefore, if you have matters to judge concerning this age, why not appoint those who are most contemptible in the Church to judge these things!
5 Para vuestra vergüenza lo digo. ¿No hay entre vosotros algún sabio que pueda juzgar entre los hermanos?	5 But I am speaking so as to shame you. Is there no one among you wise enough, so that he might be able to judge between his brothers?
6 Sino que vais a pleitear hermano contra hermano, ¡y eso, ante infieles!	6 Instead, brother contends against brother in court, and this before the unfaithful!
7 De todos modos, ya es un fallo en vosotros que haya pleitos entre vosotros. ¿Por qué no preferís soportar la injusticia? ¿Por qué no dejaros más bien despojar?	7 Now there is certainly an offense among you, beyond everything else, when you have court cases against one another. Should you not accept injury instead? Should you not endure being cheated instead?
8 ¡Al contrario! ¡Sois vosotros los que obráis la injusticia y despojáis a los demás! ¡Y esto, a hermanos!	8 But you are doing the injuring and the cheating, and this toward brothers!
9 ¿No sabéis acaso que los injustos no heredarán el Reino de Dios? ¡No os engañéis! Ni los impuros, ni los idólatras, ni los adúlteros, ni los afeminados, ni los homosexuales,	9 Do you not know that the iniquitous will not possess the kingdom of God? Do not choose to wander astray. For neither fornicators, nor servants of idolatry, nor adulterers,
10 ni los ladrones, ni los avaros, ni los borrachos, ni los ultrajadores, ni los rapaces heredarán el Reino de Dios.	10 nor the effeminate, nor males who sleep with males, nor thieves, nor the avaricious, nor the inebriated, nor slanderers, nor the rapacious shall possess the kingdom of God.
11 Y tales fuisteis algunos de vosotros. Pero habéis sido lavados, habéis sido santificados, habéis sido justificados en el nombre del Señor Jesucristo y en el Espíritu de nuestro Dios.	11 And some of you were like this. But you have been absolved, but you have been sanctified, but you have been justified: all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.
12 «Todo me es lícito»; mas no todo me conviene. «Todo me es lícito»; mas ¡no me dejaré dominar por nada!	12 All is lawful to me, but not all is expedient. All is lawful to me, but I will not be driven back by the authority of anyone.
13 La comida para el vientre y el vientre para la comida. Mas lo uno y lo otro destruirá Dios. Pero el cuerpo no es para la fornicación, sino para el Señor, y el Señor para el cuerpo.	13 Food is for the stomach, and the stomach is for food. But God shall destroy both the stomach and food. And the body is not for fornication, but rather for the Lord; and the Lord is for the body.
14 Y Dios, que resucitó al Señor, nos resucitará también a nosotros mediante su poder.	14 Truly, God has raised up the Lord, and he will raise us up by his power.
15 ¿No sabéis que vuestros cuerpos son miembros de Cristo? Y ¿había de tomar yo los miembros de Cristo para hacerlos miembros de prostituta? ¡De ningún modo!	15 Do you not know that your bodies are a part of Christ? So then, should I take a part of Christ and make it a part of a harlot? Let it not be so!
16 ¿O no sabéis que quien se une a la prostituta se hace un solo cuerpo con ella? Pues está dicho: Los dos se harán una sola carne.	16 And do you not know that whoever is joined to a harlot becomes one body? “For the two,” he said, “shall be as one flesh.”
17 Mas el que se une al Señor, se hace un solo espíritu con él.	17 But whoever is joined to the Lord is one spirit.
18 ¡Huid de la fornicación! Todo pecado que comete el hombre queda fuera de su cuerpo; mas el que fornica, peca contra su propio cuerpo.	18 Flee from fornication. Every sin whatsoever that a man commits is outside of the body, but whoever fornicates, sins against his own body.
19 ¿O no sabéis que vuestro cuerpo es santuario del Espíritu Santo, que está en vosotros y habéis recibido de Dios, y que no os pertenecéis?	19 Or do you not know that your bodies are the Temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?
20 ¡Habéis sido bien comprados! Glorificad, por tanto, a Dios en vuestro cuerpo.	20 For you have been bought at a great price. Glorify and carry God in your body.
