Oseas 6

BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 «Venid, volvamos a Yahveh, pues él ha desgarrado y él nos curará, él ha herido y él nos vendará.	1 Come, let us return to Yahweh. He has rent us and he wil heal us; he has struck us and he will bind upour wounds;
2 Dentro de dos días nos dará la vida, al tercer día nos hará resurgir y en su presencia viviremos.	2 after two days he wil revive us, on the third day he wil raise us up and we shal live in his presence.
3 Conozcamos, corramos al conocimiento de Yahveh: cierta como la aurora es su salida; vendrá a nosotros como la lluvia temprana, como la lluvia tardía que riega la tierra».	3 Let us know, let us strive to know Yahweh; that he will come is as certain as the dawn. He wil come tous like a shower, like the rain of springtime to the earth.
4 ¿Qué he de hacer contigo, Efraím? ¿Qué he de hacer contigo, Judá? ¡Vuestro amor es como nube mañanera, como rocío matinal, que pasa!	4 What am I to do with you, Ephraim? What am I to do with you, Judah? For your love is like morningmist, like the dew that quickly disappears.
5 Por eso les he hecho trizas por los profetas, los he matado por las palabras de mi boca, y mi juicio surgirá como la luz.	5 This is why I have hacked them to pieces by means of the prophets, why I have kil ed them with wordsfrom my mouth, why my sentence wil blaze forth like the dawn-
6 Porque yo quiero amor, no sacrificio, conocimiento de Dios, más que holocaustos.	6 for faithful love is what pleases me, not sacrifice; knowledge of God, not burnt offerings.
7 Pero ellos en Adam han violado la alianza, allí me han sido infieles.	7 But they have broken the covenant at Adam, there they have betrayed me.
8 Galaad es ciudad de malhechores, llena de huellas de sangre.	8 Gilead is a city of evil-doers, ful of bloody footprints.
9 Como emboscada de bandidos es la pandilla de sacerdotes: asesinan por el camino de Siquem, y cometen infamia.	9 Like so many robbers in ambush, a gang of priests commits murder on the road to Shechem- whatinfamous behaviour!
10 Cosa horrible he visto en Betel: allí se prostituye Efraím y se contamina Israel.	10 At Bethel I have seen a horrible thing; there Ephraim plays the whore, Israel is befouled.
11 También para ti, Judá, hay preparada una cosecha, cuando yo cambie la suerte de mi pueblo.	11 For you too, Judah, a harvest is in store, when I restore my people's fortunes.
