Ezequiel 6

1 La palabra de Yahveh me fue dirigida en estos términos:	1 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
2 Hijo de hombre, vuelve tu rostro hacia los montes de Israel y profetiza contra ellos.	2 Son of man, set thy face towards the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them.
3 Dirás: Montes de Israel, escuchad la palabra del Señor Yahveh. Así dice el Señor Yahveh a los montes, a las colinas, a los barrancos y a los valles: He aquí que yo voy a hacer venir contra vosotros la espada y destruiré vuestros altos.	3 And say: Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God: Thus Faith the Lord God to the mountains, and to the hills, and to the rocks, and the valleys: Behold, I will bring upon you the sword, and I will destroy your high places.
4 Vuestros altares serán devastados, vuestros braseros de incienso serán rotos, haré caer a vuestros habitantes, acribillados, delante de vuestras basuras,	4 And I will throw down your altars, and your idols shall be broken in pieces: and I will cast down your slain before your idols.
5 pondré los cadáveres de los israelitas delante de sus basuras, y esparciré sus huesos alrededor de vuestros altares.	5 And I will lay the dead carcasses of the children of Israel before your idols: and I will scatter Sour bones round about your altars,
6 En todo lugar donde habitéis, las ciudades quedarán en ruinas y los altos serán devastados, de forma que vuestros altares queden en ruinas, como cosa culpable, vuestras basuras sean destrozadas y aventadas, vuestros braseros de incienso hechos pedazos y aniquiladas vuestras obras.	6 In all your dwelling places. The cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be thrown down, and destroyed, and your altars shall be abolished, and shall be broken in pieces: and your idols shall be no more, and your temples shall be destroyed, and your works shall be defaced.
7 Caerán las víctimas en medio de vosotros, y sabréis que yo soy Yahveh.	7 And the slain shall fall in the midst of you: and you shall know that I am the Lord.
8 Pero haré que os queden, entre las naciones, algunos supervivientes de la espada, cuando seáis dispersados por los países.	8 And I will leave in you some that shall escape the sword among the nations, when I shall have scattered you, through the countries.
9 Y vuestros supervivientes se acordarán de mí, entre las naciones adonde hayan sido deportados, aquellos a quienes yo haya quebrantado el corazón adúltero que se apartó de mí y los ojos que se prostituyeron detrás de sus basuras. Tendrán horror de sí mismos por las maldades que cometieron con todas sus abominaciones.	9 And they that are saved of you shall remember me amongst the nations to which they are carried captives: because I have broken their heart that was faithless, and revolted from me: and their eyes that went a fornicating after their idols: and they shall be displeased with themselves because of the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.
10 Y sabrán que yo soy Yahveh: no había hablado en vano de infligirles todos estos males.	10 And they shall know that I the Lord have not spoken in vain that I would do this evil to them.
11 Así dice el Señor Yahveh. Bate las manos, patalea y di: «¡Ay!», por todas las execrables abominaciones de la casa de Israel, que va a caer por la espada, el hambre y la peste.	11 Thus saith the Lord God: Strike with thy hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say: Alas, for all the abominations of the evils of the house of Israel: for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine and by the pestilence.
12 El que esté lejos morirá de peste, el que esté cerca caerá a espada, el que quede sitiado morirá de hambre, porque yo desahogaré mi furor en ellos.	12 He that is far off shall die of the pestilence: and he that is near, shall fall by the sword: and he that remaineth, and is besieged, shall die by the famine: and I will accomplish my indignation upon them.
13 Y sabréis que yo soy Yahveh, cuando sus víctimas queden allí entre sus basuras alrededor de sus altares, en toda colina elevada, en la cima de todos los montes, bajo todo árbol verde, bajo toda encina frondosa, dondequiera que ofrecen calmante aroma a todas sus basuras.	13 And you shall know that I am the Lord, when your slain shall be amongst your idols, round about your altars, in every high hill, and on all the tops of mountains, and under every woody tree, and under every thick oak, the place where they burnt sweet smelling frankincense to all their idols.
14 Extenderé mi mano contra ellos y haré de esta tierra una soledad desolada, desde el desierto hasta Riblá, en todo lugar donde habiten; y sabrán que yo soy Yahveh.	14 And I will stretch forth my hand upon them: and I will make the land desolate, and abandoned from the desert of Deblatha in all their dwelling places: and they shall know that I am the Lord.
